So my question is is it possible to dump a alpha saphhire retail cart. First time i did it i shut it off cause it took 10+ min on a blank screen

ROM = Read only Memory, so the save can't be stored on the ROM chip because you couldn't write to it.

You need to actually own the game, no other way to go about this.

HANS requires you to select the game cart for which you want to play the romhack for.

ROM = Read only Memory, so the save can't be stored on the ROM chip because you couldn't write to it.

you cannot write to it but you can copy the data that's on it

This might sound dumb, but is using the romfs stuff from a EUR rom not gonna work if i have a USA game? cuz i randomized the EUR one and put the .romfs on my sd card and it freezes after i start the actual game and get by the menus
