CatSFC works MARVELOUSLY on my New 3DS XL. Games that would run at half speed with glitches on other Super NES emulators are nearly perfect on CatSFC. Granted, I've only tried a handful of titles, but after my experience with Super Street Fighter II and Space Mega Force, I'm eager to play more.

Hey, does that Neo-Geo emulator support CD games? It might be a way around the memory limitation that keeps newer games from running. Ordinarily, Neo-Geo CD games have miserable load times, but they ran pretty quickly on a Dreamcast Neo-Geo CD emulator and I imagine they'd only improve when being loaded from an SD card.

Are you on n3DS or o3DS? I'm not getting that on n3DS 10.1.
I'm on the same, n3DS on 10.1. Let me try out the latest nightly and see if its gone. For me on the 10/15 build, I see the left side of the background, probably 1 tiles worth, stuttering or lagging behind as I run to the side. I noticed it right away when moving to the 10/15 build, so if you aren't seeing it now, maybe its fixed already. Ill report back!

Yep its still there. Start up Super Metroid in CatSFC+ and just run and jump around to get the screen to scroll, then check out the background tiles on the left hand side. Its really noticeable when you get the screen scrolling up or down and left or right. The effect is even more noticeable in regular CatSFC.

Hmmm, I think you and I are talking about the same thing. I mentioned that I am seeing really bad tile stutter/shift/lag (whatever we want to call it) in Super Metroid in CatSFC while running around in side scrolling sections. This is the 10/15 build I am on, and it wasn't there in the 10/2 build that I previously was using.
Its like an invisible line right? Ive noticed it on fcemmu before also, you should take a picture or a video of it so we can find out exactly how to get rid of it

Only the CIA of gpSP is full speed on o3DS. That's why I can't add it. To many variables and I can't test o3DS. Only n3DS.
Fair enough, but he did say CFW, which kinda implied cia use :)

CATSFC and yes it plays mario, i use it to play kaizo mario
he meant super mario rpg, which is used an SA-1 coprocessor in the cart, which is kind of a second snes on board, performance wise.

I didn't try those games yet, try CatSFC, CatSFCPlus and Snes9X ans post results. (bug I doubt any would be fullspeed with that game)

The rom loads and plays very well on my new 3ds but the rom listing in the RGUI is very slow, even with the lower screen output disabled

Oh my, I see they have .3ds versions now, will they load on Gateway or are they for Citra purposes?

EDIT: had a bit of a mess around and it seems to work brilliantly on Gateway!

It's this RetroArch 3DS emulator for the GBA.
I started my New 3DS up, started BrowserHax, in the Homebrew Launcher i booted up mGBA.
I selected: Select Content. And then i choosen my ROM. I selected 'Pokemon mystery Dungeon 'Red Rescue team.
And then my New 3DS freezes...
Please help!

Any ps1 games that run good yet? I heard that clock tower survival horror game works good, but that's all I know of. And I could easily play that on SNES.

How do I get rom hacks to run? I've tried running Kaizo Mario (I applied a patch to the original ROM) and it just plays a black screen w/o sound. But I've already played the original rom before. I think the problem is that even though I renamed the patched rom it still treats it as the original rom and it messes up. How do I make the EMU think that Kaizo & the original rom are different?
