I've began designing an emuNAND-like solution a couple days ago. Don't expect many details in the following days about this.
I'm still actively reversing the IOSU and I will be doing a major update on wiiubrew with new findings soon (hopefully still today).

Awesome news Hykem :)

Don't know how I missed this. Thanks for the update @Hykem I just need a way to not have to use my SD card ;)

By the way, it would be great if more people would join in and start working on the wiiubrew wiki.
@dibas made a very good point here: http://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Talk:Main_Page

We need a lot more documentation. Even after the WiiU era is gone, this will all have high historical value (at least in my opinion).

Wii U emulator? IOS for 5.3.2? Did I miss something the last couple days while I was so busy and not able to follow this thread or any other one or are people just making things up again?

None of those things are made up, Wii U emulator Cemu is already public, you can test it yourself, you might be lucky to run something on 6fps if you have a monster pc for now though.
As for IOSU, the team has been working on it for a while before now, it seems that Hykem is finally feeling more confident to tell us that he's working on Emunand, which means he has at least some good plans in mind, so that's good news for us of course ^^.

Not yet, but with the memory patches golden45 just released to make Loadiine and TCP Gecko work together it should be possible as soon as someone (@FIX94) incorporates them into GC-to-Vpad.
I did update that over a week ago already to be dynamic. BTW I will do the same to the general tcpgecko installer now and add the neat feature of printing out your wiiu ip if tcpgecko installed successfully so you dont need any tool to search for it.

Unless it was mentioned here, I no think that rumor is close to truth.
There was also some leaked SDK that people had in hand, some were able to run them using Loadiin. Useful tools, one of them is used to compress rpx to increase compatibility for Loadiin, the others we are not yet sure about, but they are definitely interesting if people were able to use them, because it seems some of them can manage saves, do downgrades...

Just performed various tcpgecko installer changes and pushed them to my branch:
-after the installation the installer will print out the current gecko ip to use in the pc applications for convenience purposes
-instead of crashing when no kernel exploit is present the installer will just inform the user about it and return to the home menu
-the installer will now build the installation area on the fly to properly work with several kernel exploit memory mappings
-edited the build process of tcpgecko to avoid issues with function positions
I did also create a pull request, I hope I did not make any major mistakes ;)

does this mean that the mirrored corinit and rpx at 0xA0000000 will be kept even the Splatoon fix?

(also has anyone a .html of this?)

SET CAFE_ROOT=<path to SDK root>

Type that with the right directory and hit enter. Don't need Cygwin for makerpl

You can set cafe_root as a path in windows environment settings too

Looks good reading through Github's changelog, I'll see if waiting for the browser to exit fixes RPC since with the new userspace bug the player messes up any OSScreen stuff done so RPC does weird glitchy stuff.

Does anything allow the Wii U to be region free yet? I want the new Fatal Frame on disc but it's eShop only in the USA. If there's a region free hack I would import the UK special edition of the game.
