Hacking 3DS XL + emuNAND

Hi, i am getting a 3DS XL on ver 6.2.0-12E tomorrow and i've been looking to how to install emuNAND but i'm getting lost do you NEED a gateway? or is rxTools an emunand?

i was looking at one where he said all you need to do is install PastaCFW and rxTools and then you will be on emuNAND and you can update

a point in the right direction will be nice, i have looked everywhere and dont really want to get a Gateway

I have a sky3DS loaded with cubicninja and a nds R4 card for 3DS.

I'm a total noob at this, sorry

I shall use this guide, i dont need a gateway right? i just saw to remove the gateway card, i am guessing thats cause you dont needed it but i want to be safe, thanks very much

Nah, all you need is cubic ninja - I only put that bit in as a reminder cos if you DO have a gatway card, it skips the menu, so the guide doesnt work.

Correct. But he mentioned he had cubic ninja ready to go, which provides a much easier method.

best bet is to get hold of a game that'll update you to 9.2, should be easy enough with Sky3DS

Themes were introduced in 9.0.
