"NusGrabber.exe TitleID" should download the latest version.
"NusGrabber.exe TitleID Version" should download specified version

If TitleID alone doesn't work, try "0005000E10144F00 160" (USA version)

I just tried to download EUR version without a version number, and it downloaded v160.

just don't select a version and it will get the latest available.

edit:
are you sure USA is v160 too?

Well, I written in CMD "NUSGrabber.exe 0005000E10144F00 v160", now it is downloading the update, I will see if it is the 1.1.1 one and I will edit the message with my results, thanks :) .

Code:
Usage: NUSgrabber TitleID version
NUSgrabber 0000000100000002
NUSgrabber 0000000100000002 258
there's no "v" to put in front of the version number.

but again, no version number will get the latest.

Ps: SSBU update is big. 2GB!

OK, I will edit that, it might be downloading the v80 then, thanks for pointing it xD .

EDIT: Yes, seems to be 160 version now, thanks :) .

I tried to use UWizard to download the latest Smash update and I got 1.51 GB (1,627,661,604 bytes), which isn't the 2GB Cyan mentioned, and if I try to install it my Wii U freezes and stays frozen. Anyone have a reason why this would happen?
edit: attempting to download from NUSgrabber (non GUI) to see if it's different.

- Safety List prevents you from installing Titles that could brick your console

How are the safety lists implemented, is it a hard-coded list or are they scrapped from a database during the exploit?
I'm currently experiencing issues when attempting to install updates for two games. After running the kernel exploit then WUP Installer; the Wii U immediately locks up after returning to the "Wii U Menu" indicating to me it's triggering the safety list.
I'm wondering if the safety list is outdated and inadvertently blocking these updates.

The games/updates:
Hyrule Warriors 0005000E1017D800 128

Mario Kart 8 0005000E1010EC00 64

I do own most/all the DLC for both of the above titles, could that potentially be the issue?

Running spoofed firmware and updated to the latest Smash 160 without issue.

Solved: Turns out, for some reason or another nus grabber had started saving some update files without an extension. This occurred in both command line and uwizard. Grabbing a new copy and rebooting seemed to have fixed the issue.

Must have been an argument, flag, or other parameter I unknowingly enabled.

The US update is 1.51 GB. Check your file system. I was getting a freeze after loading WUP installer when I accidentally had the files in a folder inside the install folder.

does it? that would defeat the purpose of a "spoof"
it does lol, the porpose of the spoof is to play online with lower Fw wich it does, all you ahve to do is put tubehax dns or block nintendo servers with opendns, ccproxy.

yes, just take off you nintendo blocks and the wiiu will update in no time lol.
You're right, but that is the current situation. If 5.5 is ever spoofed, then you'd have to wait for a new release to upgrade. My point is, no update of 5.32 to 5.32 or 5.5 to 5.5. It's not lateral.

nope a few people have reported that even after they spoofed the system still ran the full 5.5 update, its probably similar to the 3DS where it scans if all system titles are up to date, if not it will install any titles that are not updated to the latest version....but yeah you cant downgrade a title, so you cant "unspoof" back to stock 5.3.2

The xml files just point the the OSv11 title id for <os_version>. So probably something like that.

ok so here is my problem

was just out doing some shopping so i picked up super mario maker

i didnt wanna update to 5.5.0 from 5.3.2 so i spoofed to 5.5

i popped the disk in played for a little bit and and noticed i couldnt play online so i thought maybe i have to update the game so i downloaded the updates with nusgrabber and installed them with wupinstaller and now every time i launch super mario maker it says preparing update. then says a "system update is required before the software update can be downloaded start the system update now?" i ofcourse click cancel. what can i do to get my game working again without updating. my console still says its on 5.5

EDIT: i tried installing the 5.5 spoof again. that didnt make a difference
