Mugen Senshi Valis (remake of the first game) is a must for PC-Engine. Valis 2, 3 and 4 are also great - they're all japanese but language isn't an issue. Cadash, the Bonk series, Neutopia, Son Son are also great games. Also, Mega Bomberman on the Genesis is a port of Bomberman '94, and the later is better.

You shouldn't expect too much, if there aren't a 3dsx is because that core relies of the dynarec to have a stable framerate.

I just saw some videos of Final Fantasy VII and IX playing on an N3DS as half speed, dayum that is impressive, and also cathartic in a way to see PS1 games on a Nintendo console

Well no. There isn't a 3dsx version because it crashes when you start it.

@aliaspider said that he disabled the dynarec to test the core and found that the core was so slow to not using dynarec (he got 10-12 fps or something like that)
Also, shinyquagsire said that interpreter everytime will be slower than dynarec.

If you want the best emulator experience, buy a N3DS.

if you're able to get a N3DS, especially with 9.2 or below, I would say get it.
if not, get a O3DS with 9.2 or below.
Just don't get a O3DS above 9.2

I just with they were so damned pricey (there's refurb but still), because the emulators look promising.

well.. you have that thread here with a list of serials that you can use as a guide to try to find one. But most of all, just be careful and be lucky. lol

Or if you try to get a used one, try to ask the seller which firmware it has.
