Before I start a riot I mean that he can have the newer boot.3dsx on the root of his sd and still run Ninjhax 1.1b and Homemenuhax if he wants to. Not that he has kernel access on homemenuhax. :toot:
Holy hell, you guys jump on what looks like speculation way too fast. :/
Then, put into a context, please!

It makes more sense in the context of the post I was originally replying to. Not as a single post. Either way I'm sorry. :(
Sorry too... My intention was not create any controversy! Only was clarify and prevent for people with minimal knowledge about that get hyped!

So I updated my boot.3dsx to the newest one and it runs homebrew just fine, as well as if I go through cubic ninja to run rxtools, it works great as well!

Thanks for the info!

There is no point of having so much entry points... I mean, the tubehax exploit is great and sufficient. They should search for kernel exploits, there are enough of userland entrypoints ***hax

But this one is pretty neat, as you don't need to bother seeing your home menu again.
I see your point, though.

Tubehax requires an internet connection to function, so the other hax(OoThax, Ironhax, ect) were good for people without internet access, like on a bus ride. Each new *hax meant it was less likely for somebody to need to buy a game to get offline *hax.

HomeMenuHax is the ideal userland entry point, since it costs nothing and doesn't require an internet connection. So I'd say now there's no need for more.

Now I've heard Yellows8 is heavily antipiracy, so I don't expect a kernel exploit to come from him even if he has one.

I think we should discover a kernel exploit with these entry points...
(Hey dude, LOOK AT THİS POSİTİON, YOU (yellows8) HACKED THE HOME MENU, WHAT THE FU*K!!!??? THİS MEANS YOU CAN HACK EVERYTHİNG!!...

It's just a theme, which we were already able to do.

That's easy to say. For all we know there might not be any more kernel exploits.
The more entrypoints the better, I say. Besides, this one has the added convenience of not having to boot up a game to execute.

There are always more kernel exploits. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. No system is perfect. Even QNX has flaws and Nintendo's kernel is nowhere near on that level. BTW, does anyone anyone know how to use this with the default dark theme? It always changes to the light theme when I install.

I think the hax is "a default white theme", so that's why

So if i get rxtools on a 3ds with a kernel exploit and ninjhax 1.1 with a custom menu to autoload it i can get rxmode with just a push of a button while its booting :D automatic kernel hacked mode. Sadly i do not have it. Also does dynarec work on .cia for retroarch? Hopefully nintendo will start concentrating on the NX and stop patching the 3ds and we can have a permanently hacked latest firmware like the PSP has, latest firmware is hacked and no more updates
