I couldn't find this on their main website ( and they haven't returned my email) so i figured perhaps someone here may know.

What is the blue button game limit? I could have sworn i read somewhere that it was 31 and if i wanted all the games to save correctly the sd card had to be partitioned?

Or has anyone put more than 31 games on the blue button card and they all load and save fine?

if you got gateway or pasta no need for sky
I thought gateway and pasta only worked for 9.2 and < while sky3ds works on the most recent firmware?

In either case i have options for all 3

Hopefully someone can shed some light in my initial post though

They Sell a no LIMIT Sky3ds, so technically it should not be 31.. there was a procedure to remove the red sky3ds' 10 game limit.. I would assume the same would work on the no-limi-sky3ds.... but i came here to comment on another topic.... Why sky3ds? or even CFW... If you have Gateway you have it all.. you can boot into sysnand with permissions to install cias... (just like a cfw).. and you have a menu to choose the game you want. I have Gateway and I have 180 3ds games on a 64GB sandisk card... Imagine having to wait 5 seconds between game changes to scroll over 180 games on sky.. yeahhhhh..no. If you have Gateway and a 9.2- system then you dont need cfw or sky. Way too redundant.

I actually don't have a gateway at the moment

I only have about 8 games on the sky3ds, 180 games... that is a lot to play for more than a year?

And 5 seconds to switch games .. ha! 5 seconds would only be if i am using the sandisk extreme micro sd pro lines that currently go for $1 a gig. Anything else than that would take 10 seconds or more

Ill probably get a gateway too i would like to see the features of all . The sky3ds blue button even though it had '' no limit'' it had an issue where it wouldn't detect more than 31 games due to the diskwriter app ( see topic i noted above) , However this seems it may have changed what i don't really know is if putting more than 31 causes save issues unless the micro sd card is partitioned

My honest and personal opinion, If you have a (n)3ds on 9.0-9.2 get Gateway. Sell your 80$ sky3ds and with that buy your gateway card and a 64bg sd card. With gateway you can boot into sysnand (just like cfw) and you can backup your NAND, you will also have an emuNAND, (which you can also back up), you can also install mset (which is an easy way to launch gatewy by accessing your Profile via Settings and not need to swap cards) and you will have an easy and nice menu to select your game with out having to move one by one. Remember Legit CIAs as well, you can install them on the sysnand and play with out the need of gateway/cfw to launch it. :)

If anything i would just get a gateway i like having an trying all the cards. I have like 10 different r4 brands..

Initially i bought the sky3ds for convenience of just plug and play mostly

I guess kind of like linux and windows, linux can pretty much do everything windows can and more most people like something more simple and of course i don't think most people like using the terminal coming from windows though eventually you get used to it. In my case i like to try everything so ill eventually get a gateway. I also use both windows and linux

Unlimited roms/cia isn't possible.
It never will be possible. So, use what you have, and, don't keep the games you no longer play.
