If you import with svdt, it auto fixes it for you.I accidentally edited an Alpha Sapphire save in PKHex that had the wrong secure value and I'm without a backup.
Is there a way to find what the secure value should be and rewrite the one on the save?
I tried and it's not working. My game is telling me the save isn't compatible. If you import with svdt, it auto fixes it for you.
Citra doesn't have sound yet.OK, my current project looks a bit like this...
However, it's completely silent, no audio at all, not a crackle or sound of any kind. I don't know if the issue is the the 3DS side of things or the emulator.
If anyone thinks that they can genuinely help, then please PM me.
Start a new game, save that game, then import using svdt.I tried and it's not working. My game is telling me the save isn't compatible.
Sound doesn't work with N3DS if I remember correctly.Post updated...
You really are a helpful bunch aren't you. Why can't people just assume that I expect audio because I'm testing on a system that audio actually does work on?Sound doesn't work with N3DS if I remember correctly.

Fro the record, testing on a 3ds class with ninjhax I can't get sound. I know sound works because every hb I have tried to this point has working sound. Now if someone wants to help then do.
Maybe I'm a little bit late, but I've put this together. Almost everything came from Marco D's Non-stop Nyan Cat, so credit must be given to him, I just isolated the sound part of the code.

It allows you to use 3dslink (comes with devkitARM) to upload and run a 3dsx homebrew. It's quicker than using FTP and is convenient for developers. When u press the ” Y ” button it says something about a netloader...
What is that exactly?
is there anyway to wait a number of seconds before continuing with the program? I tried using sleep(1) and #include <unistd> but that does not seem to work. Total noob to homebrew developing and I want to get this to work, thanks in advance!
I've never had that happen. Try redownloading the homebrew menu and putting it on your card again. If I remember correctly, someone was having issues with inconsistent launching of applications and redownloading the menu and putting back on the card fixed it.Another question about a thing that's annoying me since I started testing homebrew :
Am I the only one whose 3ds crashes 1/4th of the time when I launch an app ?
What happens is when any app is launched, the 3ds sometimes randomly crashes on a white screen, this happens about once out of four app launches and happens on every app I tried, including homebrew launcher itself, the other 3 times the apps work perfectly though...
It gets really annoying because when i'm doing tests and uploading the new builds through ftp, it can crash on both the ftp app and my app itself, and I have to restart the 3DS when it happens...
Anyone else has that and/or knows how to fix it ?
Thanks so much for the quick reply! (the thread hadn't been used in a month so I wasn't expecting anything so fast) However, I think I am being stupid and using the parameters wrongly, could you show me an example of how it's used? Thanks again!
