ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

Ok again ill go through what I did for the last 4 hours -_-

1. Go in to iron fall and into iron hax
2. Go to Homebrew Launcher
3. Open up Save Manager App
4. Select Animal Crossing New Leaf
5. Wait for text to leave and screen to go black and partly glitchy hit A
6. Turn off
7. Pop in sd card in pc
8. open in this case NSLE exe
9. Open and edit Garden remove trees and flowers
10. save and put garden.dat back in folder
11. put sd card back in device start up iron hax and save manager
12. Select Animal Crossing New Leaf wait till black glitch area comes press B and wait then shutdown and turn back on
13. go into game and no change nothing ..

you don't put the garden data back in the save manager folder. NLSE edits and rewrites it so all you have to do is put the SD card back in your DS.

I copy the savedatabackup folder to my pc then edit with the tool cause my pc is ....finicky and likes to destroy sd cards but all is working well actually this tool was much more shocking then I thought O.O I can put BUSHES ANYWHERES o.o LOVE THIS ! I have used both the web and desktop web I can zoom in ^-^ desktop is just for when I know what I want to do, and to give everyone that may be new to this like me a idea of what can be done in simple terms ( editing acres doesnt work when I go to do that and save it doesnt show in game ) I wont use that feature now cause I have already edited my town I am making
my town special I have a maze set to play with (hide items and use a timer for them to find in certain time etc .. so all those green on the outside of the map and down by the beach and around the whole middle are bushes even on normal banned areas like the plaza and town hall it works trees are on top left ^-^ I even edited my island ( I have been with acnl for 3 years got bored saw this made a whole new
game save to do this for me and a friend so thanks to all who came up with this idea!!

you can max your medals with the browser version if I remember correctly, but not with NSLE


alternatively you could find the offset where the medal data is stored in the hex data (using HxD) and edit it.

Thank you for this I used the editor with my gateway and it's working perfectly~!
I just want to know something about the acres editor~
I changed my river shape fromㄹ shape to ㄱ this shape so I can have a bit of more room to create my village

but after I changed it the place where the river used to be
is land but the ground has the pavement of the river.
(the place where the river is has no grass)
is there a way to put grass ?

How do you know how much space a villagers house takes up? Say I wanted to move a villagers house closer to the other houses, how would I know how many spaces apart they needed to be to not overtake each other? Because they're only represented by one square on the editor

villager houses are 3x3. the one square they represent in the editor is the centre of their house.

I have a hard time explaining so like
imagine a number pad

those are all the spaces a villagers house takes up, in that formation.

their coordinate in the editor is where 5 is. so if you had one house at 33, 67 and you wanted to line up a house IMMEDIATELY next to it (with no space in between), the second houses coordinates would be 36, 67

NLSE and prefer it over the other web one it has extra tools and now that someone finally solved my house issue im gonna line houses like want ^0^

(not that I know of at least?)
believe me I want to put bushes around my villagers' houses so badly.
you can put them up against cliff/river edges, IN the river, on cobblestone, or on the beach though!

Nope rocks fail I need something besides flowers that are solid .. To go besides my 2 arches well at least you can put different face things down love that program! I did thumbnails cause my ipad mini takes big photos o.o if anyone comes across a new save editor that can do what i said above please let me know ^0^
