Hello,
Is it possible to transfer the Nintendo Network ID (NNID) without updating the firmware console? I have a 2DS with firmware 9.2.0-20E and a New 3DS firmware 9.0.0-20E.

Thanks to all in advance for the answers.

Unfortunately it isn't possible, unless you update, since the NNID is tied to the system itself, and Nintendo handles the transfer of NNID from one system to another.

I had read something called spoofing or NTR. Are they useful to something or need something else?

I'm okay with any procedure to transfer my NNID from the old console to the new one.

When transferring, the requirement is setting up a firmware spoofer, but the underlying firmware can only do a system transfer to another specific firmware:

Source : 3.0 <---> Target : 3.0
Source : 4.0-4.5 <---> Target : 4.0-4.5
Source : 5.0-6.3 <---> Target : 5.0-6.3
Source : 7.0-8.1 <---> Target : 7.0-8.1
Source : 9.0-9.5 <---> Target : 9.0-9.5
Source : 9.6-9.7 <---> Target : 9.6-9.7

In your case, it is possible to do a system transfer from 9.2 to 9.0, all you need is NTR CFW and the NTR Debugger, but I could be wrong.

Here's an old guide to do exactly what you want to do (not sure if it's still a valid/working method):

Thanks ... It's a long guide. Anyway I hope that someone else over you can help me. So we have two opinions. :)

First do you have CN ? You need it for the n3ds.

Or if you just care about the nnid and not your save,activity log..., just contact Nintendo, they can transfer it.

Excuse for the ignorance... What do you mean for "CN"?

The
1. setup rxTools on your 2DS and Pasta on the n3ds
2. Inject FBI on your 2DS sysnand (follow the instructions inside the fbi_injection folder)
3. Launch rxmode in sysnand, use FBI to install FreeMultiPatcher
4. On the N3DS, launch the pasta CFW and install FreeMultiPatcher in here too.
5. Start FreeMultiPatcher on both console
6. Go to the system settings on both consoles and do a system transfer. (If it asks you for an update, don't do it, it means you did something wrong)

You can always reinstall it, look for a "legit" cia (it will work from sysnand)

You won't lose your pre-installed game.

Any pre-installed games on the target system will be linked to the NNID of the source old3DS, and will be available to re-download from the eShop if necessary. They'll also carry over to any other 3DS you might purchase and transfer to in the future.

If you're concerned about losing save data, you can back it up with either savedatafiler or one of the homebrew solutions before the transfer.

You won't lose it BUT if you have a NNID set up on your n3DS you will have to system format to remove it in order to be able to perform a system transfer. I think that might make you lose access to the preinstalled game as well.

You don't have to set up rxTools or any CFW on your o3DS in order to perform the transfer as there's already a firmware spoofer that can be ran through the o3DS browser, so you'll only need CFW on the n3DS.
Here is the QR code for it (scan it with the 3DS camera)

If you format a 3ds with a preinstalled game, assuming you never linked an NNID to it, the game will be available to redownload at the eShop (but you would have to be on latest firmware or be able to spoof)

My 2DS is 9.2, and 9.9 with Gateway. My N3DS MM LE (9.0) has only been turned on to check the firmware version. So i set only the profile, not the NNID.

Ah, now you didn't mention that you had a 9.9 emuNAND.

You won't be able spoof your way to system transfer your 9.9 emuNAND to your new3DS sys9.0 (or emu9.5 for that matter).

You'll only be able to do it from your old3DS sysNAND to new3DS sysNAND or emuNAND due to the crypto changes introduced in 9.6.

You can however downgrade your 9.9 emuNAND to 9.0-9.5, then perform the transfer.

Ok. What is the problem? sysNAND and emuNAND are not two separate things? If I do not use the gateway, but directly ninjahax on 2DS (9.2) it does not work?
