I got it used from ebay for about 40$. Paying full price for a used game is worth it for custom firmware and homebrew imo.

can anybody explain the differences between having a gateway3ds and cubic ninja for my new 3ds ll? which card is better? ive had my gateway for a few months. whats so good about cubic ninja?

I cant seem to find it anywhere.. And even if I do find it I won't wanna spend 50 euro or more that's just insane.

I have seen it before on a 2nd hand site for 25-35 euro, but I didn't want to buy then. but now none are offered.

I am thinking of buying a New 3ds, and the best solution for playing 3ds, gba, nds etc. would be getting the cubic ninja hack right? ( I currently have old 3ds + gateway)

The convinience of Ninja in my opinion is that you can go to gamestop and start using CFW right away, if you have to order online might aswell get the sky3ds. Main reason I got an O3ds from gamestop, is because I knew if i bricked I could return it. Maybe not up to everyones ethical standards, but I wanted to play it safe. Could I have found a 3ds with old FW for maybe say 90$? Its possible, but most people that have the old3ds with lower FW say on EBay know what their console is worth and usually upcharge for it being on hackable FW. I saw a few Hackable O3ds on ebay for 90$ for example but it looked like the system survived World War 2.

I just found out savegames dont carry over nicely to SKy3ds. which means Sky3ds is not an option for me.

Does anyone know which savedongle u need, and where u can buy it for the zelda OOT hack for gateway?

Also been checking ebay.. but no PAL cubic ninja's....

I was lucky enough to buy NA Cubic Ninja in Singapore for only $10SGD, which is about $6-7 USD.
The guy selling it online didn't know how rare it is so I bugged him about it when I visited Singapore.
Now I'm back in my home country and have Cubic Ninja. Will upgrade to N3DS this christmas.

Now, I just need a Japanese CN and all will be perfect. Anyone knkw where I can get it aside from Amazon?

to my knowledge, Japanese CN is very very rare... if you where lucky, you could have gotten the eShop version.

so Amazon is your only real choice really.
