ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

Ok again ill go through what I did for the last 4 hours -_-

1. Go in to iron fall and into iron hax
2. Go to Homebrew Launcher
3. Open up Save Manager App
4. Select Animal Crossing New Leaf
5. Wait for text to leave and screen to go black and partly glitchy hit A
6. Turn off
7. Pop in sd card in pc
8. open in this case NSLE exe
9. Open and edit Garden remove trees and flowers
10. save and put garden.dat back in folder
11. put sd card back in device start up iron hax and save manager
12. Select Animal Crossing New Leaf wait till black glitch area comes press B and wait then shutdown and turn back on
13. go into game and no change nothing ..

That's this one right?
There are no other saves in the folder except the ACNL one?

After you press B, wait 10 seconds or so then press X, then reboot.

yes there is one other game I was attempting to edit which also failed that was the pokemon rumble oo something file along with the normal files that manager backs up freinds exhibition garden ... I am only getting frustrated because I spent 4 hours trying to get it to work after having to restart ACNL same with pokemon rumble ...

Okay that's probably the problem. In the link I sent you, it says

When restoring saves make sure you only have saves of that one game in saveDataBackup folder!

So make sure it's only your ACNL save in there, nothing else

I have attempted that many times I have even waited couple mins after pushing b watching it do its glitch screen and then pressing x hard booting cause you cant back out like the other ones you edit there is no text theres one way out of that thing its hard booting device

ok we shall try this again yes I know chill patience is not my strong suit I have learning Disabilities so this stuff tends to throw me into overdrive when stuff fails I will give this another go and be back with results ..sigh

Just make sure there's nothing in the saveDataBackup folder before backing up the save. Then edit it, overwrite the original save with whatever file you edited (garden.dat), and inject it like that.

Using svdt is easier though, it doesn't have that limitation since it uses separate folders for each game.

Oops, I thought they were essentially the same thing. My bad, I only use SDF so I'm not knowledgeable about the new homebrew stuff lol

Edit: I see, it has a problem loading the main UI

Just SVDT doesn't work, but Save Manager works

They can be removed, I have just 2 because I think you need at least to have one for it to be the "money" rock, so I'll suggest you to just put one of two somewhere they won't bother you. And remember that ONE will always appear but it's breakable.

You need to find out which house you want to move, and move it using the grid numbers when you move your mouse over a grid. Then copy the two numbers (x,y coordinates) to the buildings tab.

Player 1 house is your mayor, cafe, recycle shop etc..
