Hacking Mario Maker won't run at 5.3.2

So basically: Mario maker comes with an update above 5.3.2 on the disc. So you can't play it at all without a second Wii U.

I play too much online smash, kart, and now this. Soon star fox, zelda. So of course update. Everyone will be in for a long wait before something decent comes to the scene. And then you have to compare if it's worth it or not to all these amazing games you can't play

Isn't there a way to brick updates through installing the a wrong IOS on the vwii side?
