Hardware Building a gaming PC

The budget is 650 Euro and the build so far has these parts:

R9 280X GAMING 3G - MSi
INTEL Core i5-4460 3.20GHz 1150 BOX
COOLERMASTER B700 v2 RS700-ACABB1-EU
MSI H97 GAMING 3 / ASROCK Z97 Pro3
HyperX 8GB FURY DDR3 1600MHz CL10 KIT HX316C10FK2/8

No need for an HDD, Housing and other PC peripherals. Are there better PC parts than those?
The price of the parts up there is 650 Euro.

EDIT: Btw, the PC parts were collected by the seller not me. And me and friend are building the PC for him.
Anyways the R9 208X 3GB seems like its not so much better than the GTX960, its about 12% stronger than the 960 but its 100 Euro in difference. Maybe a GTX 960 would be better?

You could go for the GTX 960, overclock it a bit (Or opt for a factory OC'd version). Save around 70-80 euros and upgrade to a better processor/ mobo. (Ideally a Z97 mobo)

That's actually a VERY good mid-range build. The only thing I'd do to improve it in the future is get a graphics card with 4GB of VRAM (Unless you intend to play less graphically intense games, then that is absolutely fine for those/gaming at 1080p with lower settings for most other games)

Yup, that's what he's thinking to do. Me too, i've got a GTX 960 with 2 gigs and i won't change it until i finish my college. Thinking to upgrade to the same CPU.

I've got a 4690k and so far I must say I am not disappointed. I love that after overclocking you BASICALLY have a quad core i7 However, I haven't tried any of the N64 emulators yet so I suppose the true test will be when I try to run one of them (since they run almost solely on the CPU)

I'm pretty sure its gonna be great lol.
So far i'm using an Intel Pentium G630 and it does the job pretty great.

Yeah, I'm considering the Pentium G3470 for the next family build. I've heard that the more powerful Pentium processors are actually very respectable in terms of performance

So far i had no problems running games with the GTX960 and G630.
The only problematic games were Witcher 3(i actually got over 30 FPS but the controls were delayed for some reason) and Crysis 3 (Ran 60FPS on max but once i came to the grass field it dropped to 10, the game sure is a CPU hog).
The CPU upgrade is gonna be next year thou so there might be better CPUs for the same buck.

Unless the Broadwell generation really picks it up, I wouldn't count on it, as you'd have to get a new motherboard for any of the Sky Lake processors to work. However, it will definitely be good to watch prices for the next few years as regardless they will certainly drop at least a bit

I've seen the 6600K and it seems it has the same power as the 4690K, just that it has newer architecture.

Yeah, but as they keep refreshing the processors I would hope it would get better with every revision

P.S. When looking for items on a budget, Ebay is your friend. I got a new 600W PSU for 24 USD and a used AMD ATHLON-XII 250 3 GHz for 13 USD.
