run in cmd ping 192.168.1.100
Before or after running the exploit or TCPGecko?
Before everything it works:

as well as after loading the osdriver exploit.

EDIT: it works even after running TCPGecko on yoursite/py/

Question, I've successfully gotten the race exploit to work on the third try, along with the TCPGecko installer, provided by wj44's links, but now I need to connect TCP to the Wii U, and it's not clear how to find the Wii U's IP... The only answer I've seen is "Router" but that's a bit vague, could someone provide a more specific answer?

If you can't find its IP, you can set an IP manually from the console's settings.

The Wii U's...
Ok, but how do I find it? All you said was to set a manual one, with no indication on what to do...

EDIT: I've tried pinging the Wii U using the IP address in TCPGecko, but it responds "Destination Host Unreachable", meaning the IP is incorrect? How do I find the right one?

If you set up open dns it should be there :)

To find your router IP type in cmd in search box click on cmd and then type in ipconfig, it will change though if your using ethernet cable or wireless you need to check again with each connection :)

You need to know your router's IP anyway. You can find its address in the manual or check the "gateway" address used by your PC to connect to it.
System Settings → Internet → Connect to the Internet → Connection List → your connection → Change Settings → IP address: Do not auto-obtain.

Gateway: your router's IP
Subnet Mask: usually 255.255.255.000
IP Address: same as your router's IP, except for the last 3 digits: enter a random number.

I entered the Wii U's IP, pinged it, and it's a valid network, but when I try to connect via TCP, its connect attempts fail almost instantly, so I dunno.

Are you running it via Admin, try properties then click on box, run as admin then try again. also I presume you are running the game on your wiiu? Make sure you use the gecko_dnet version.

Still no luck... I'm running the game, and I'm using wj44.bplaced.net/pyGecko2 for TCPGecko on Wii U.
