Hello, I remember one day I learned by reading the Gateway 3DS Official Guide that there was a combination of buttons that you could do in the Gateway Menu to go back to sysNAND without having to reboot your 3DS or launch emuNAND and exit from settings. Does anyone know it? It would help me. Thanks.

Edit: Solved!

You need to press down on the dpad and press b at the same time to shut it down.
Yea, well the gray screen it does when rebooting is exactly what I remember from it, I think I just invented the memory that you could exit directly to sysNAND, but yes, it was what I was looking for, thanks.
That's not really what he asked for though.

@Scorchy I don't know of a built in way to do that without launching settings and exiting. I think there is a reboot homebrew installable as a CIA that makes this a little easier.
Edit: You can find it here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/homebrew-quick-reboot-cfw-gateway-ninjhax.379101/
No, I think I just invented the exit to sysNAND part, but I knew there was a trick to leave the Gateway Menu so I got what I asked for at least. And yea, I do have this reboot .CIA your talking about. It's a green icon with an arrow in it. It does the same job but I think the reboot trick is faster than having to launch emuNAND.

Shortcuts:
- Hold XB while booting Gateway Mode to boot into sysNAND with sig. patches
- Press B while holding ↓ to power off
- Enter the downgrade menu while holding ↑ to restore a NAND backup

EDIT:
- Hold ↑ while entering Gateway Mode to enter without formware spoofing
- Hold R while entering the Gateway menu to flash the cart (which is only necessary the 1st time you use the cart for now).

Actually it's UP. I just checked, using Gateway v3.4.

It should let you use the Red Card, just without going into emunand.

There are also:
-Hold up while entering Gateway Mode to enter without firmware spoofing
-Hold R while entering the Gateway menu to flash the cart (which is only necessary the 1st time you use the cart for now).

Sig patches mean disabling signature checks. You'd be running sysNand, but with the ability to use the Gateway multi-rom menu and run unsigned code, as well as any installed CIAs that don't have valid signatures. Useful for using BBM/DevMenu to install system CIAs to sysNand, like BlueCardFix.cia/mset.cia.

To do this, you'd go into the Gateway menu, then hold B while highlighting "Boot Gateway Mode". The text will change to "Boot Gateway Sysnand Mode". While holding B, press A, and it will ask you to confirm you want to do this by pressing X.

Maybe you want to use FBI to install a legit CIA to sysnand, or maybe you want to install the blue cart fix (aka flashcart timewarp).
I see, well I don't see why I would need that as my 3DS FW is already running the Gateway Blue Card and I don't see why I would use Gateway Launcher on sysNAND as I won't be able to connect internet or use Miiverse. I think i'll just stay with the first trick, I don't have much use of sig. patches anyway..

In that case, the easiest way to get back in to vanilla sysnand while in the gateway menu is to power off (with Down + B) then power on.

Isn't it hold [ B ] > Press [A] on Boot Emunand > [X] to confirm you want to boot into Sysnand with sigs patched?

Edit: FFS, [ B ] without spaces just makes everything bold D=

Corrected ;)
Code:
[B]
makes everything bold because it's the BBCode for "Bold".

Lol yeah, I knew that. But at the same time I wasn't really thinking about it.

Just going alone with my typical buttons in []. After posting, my first take was.. why is that bolded... Then still bold, followed by actually realizing what I put in brackets lol.
