It has been announced that the Vita port of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be releasing digitally on August 18th for North America at $39.99, and in Europe on the same day for a currently unannounced price.

The port will include the four main episodes, two bonus episodes, The Struggle and Little Miss, as well as the Raid mode featuring 15 playable characters, HUNK and Wesker included, and over 200 missions, with online co-op available at launch.

They're also including alternative costumes for story and Raid mode, a throwback map pack, and multiple storage expansions for weapons, parts, and albums.

A positive surprise as a game before, now even more. The game is quite fun and worked quite well even on remote play for the PS4 -> PSVita, so I expect the native version to be more optimised (the R2/L2 trigger remapping would be a must for the Vita).

August 18th, October 11th and 13th... SWEET! Got hype for 3 dates!
(August 18th = Resident Evil:Revelations 2, October 11th = Corpse Party 2 Dead Patient English Patch (Hopefully), and October 13th = Corpse Party Blood Drive US Release)

You do realize that Sony paid Capcom muney for this and the port is done by a 3rd party studio.
Capcom didn't decide to do this Sony just offered them a deal.
It's really sad that one of their main franchises needs to be paid for by a platform holder.

So the first game was on 3DS, later ported to Wii U and the rest of the platforms. The second game is NOT on any Nintendo platform. 3DS I understand, it's too weak. But if they consider Wii U too weak: PS VITA?! Okay, but maybe they don't want to release it to a console that doesn't sell well: PS VITA!? I'm just baffled :P

Good a alright game coming to the vita. Only one problem though its made by a 3rd party. So was call of duty black ops vita. Its going to be really good or really really bad
