Hacking [Smash Bro's.] Issues playing online /w Private Headers + Sky3DS

I'm running into issues getting online with my Smash Bro's ROM. I tried every different manufacturer byte in the template.txt, yet still always run into the "You cannot use online services with this Game Card." error. I'm not sure what else it could be, any help would be appreciated.

Are you using a private header?
And did you edit the sky3ds template? Like, chip id values or anything than the header?

The problems seems to be on chip id in your template.

Try to do this:

Download the last template
Inject your header to it using no ban no sky.
Open disk writer, delete the ssb rom.
Overwrite the template to the new one you made.
Write the ssb rom again.
Try to go online.
Dont change anything in template than your header ok?

I am using private headers. I tried different manufacturer bytes in the template/Chip ID values, (AE, C2, 45, etc.). That's about all I edited.

Dont forget that may be more than one to edit.
Search for CTR-P-AXCE in all template

Oh, and dont forget that these informations are attached to your .sav
Maybe that is why you cant go online even changing the id.

If you want to erase your save, the only way is editing your .sav (change its header value to anything diferent) and restore to the rom. But do it after you inject the new template to sky3ds.
Then load the rom and the game will say that your save is corrupted. Start a new game end try to go online

Dont forget to boot the save to sky3ds when you restore a save. Do you know how to do it?
Keep the button pressed while insert the sky3ds in your 3ds. Remove it and insert again. Wait about 3 seconds, remove it and insert again. Now you can play the game

Jesus christ. Had a fresh save, it gave the introduction as if I had never played before. I changed both of the CTR-P-AXCE entries. Still no dice.

Give this Tut a shot then. It uses Gateways Rom Patcher to do the heavy lifting for you.

Hey man, if you Private Hader come from C2 Games (like a pokemons, marios, etc) you need to find the ROM Rev1 it's a C2 version and it works with C2 Private Header.

Edit: I had the same problem and did that.
