I heard SKY3DS can run japanese games with regionfour. i was looking for FE:IF, but in the compatibly list, it says not compatible, but it says (regionFour). Does that mean, it runs with regionFour or not?

Dang it. Sadly I only have access to Gateway Mode and RXTools via my 2DS and the boot rate is at about -5No, unfortunately they have not fixed the template for Fire Emblem: If. So it doesn't work (yet).

But it won't appear on the sysnand as an icon only in emuNand irhgt? You can install the game as a CIA via RxTools on your 2DS, that's one way to play it.
But it won't appear on the sysnand as an icon only in emuNand irhgt?
Thats the problem. I can only access my emunand after about 100000 retries to enter it. Only way is replace the launcher.dat and format emunand againYou can install it via Emunand using rxTools, so it won't appear on your sysNAND.

Both are 6.0.0Weird, my 2DS doesn't have that problem. What version is your sysNAND and EmuNAND? It could be a faulty sd card.
Both are 6.0.0
How do i unlink these? Are they unlinked? I would update the Emunand to see if that helps but they have to be unlinked before the update. You'd have to backup your Emunand though, in case it gets messed up (I only say this because you probably have some important stuff on the Emunand).
How do i unlink these?
Sorry if its noobish, but if i format sysNand, wont it be updated?(Do i have to format it via gateway menu?)You have to either format sysNAND or Emunand. I'd make a nand backup of both prior to doing this. Most people usually format sysNAND.

Just to be sure that i understood everything:Gateway only formats Emunand. You go to system settings to format sysNAND without launching gateway.
Here's a thorough guide to help you out:

Just to be sure that i understood everything:
I have to backup sysNand and emuNand.
Then i have to enter emuNand and format it
Correct?
Yup, backup both, copy the contents of the SD card to your PC, load Emunand and format. It's easier to format sysNAND though.
Its currently formatting emuNand in gateway mode. Does it have to be formatted in the emuNAND system settings?
So i formatteed sysnand and emuNand(i just did both, so im unsure if i have to format sysnand again)Yup, backup both, copy the contents of the SD card to your PC, load Emunand and format. It's easier to format sysNAND though.

Also, from Maxconsole user Davhuit:
"Of course, you can (basically, the format with the SD card just force the 3DS to create a new folder for the sysnand when you put the SD card back in the 3DS, nothing more, so it's not related to the firmware version or such).
Format option do not require the last firmware, it just check if you can connect to internet for whatever reason but it doesn't update your firmware (it couldn't, it would be illegal to update without asking you, except if you purposely choose an option somewhere on your 3DS to automatically make the updates).
- Boot in sysnand.
- Go to systems settings.
- Go the page with format option (last one).
- Remove the SD Card and format WITHOUT THE SD CARD.
- Once it's formatted, 3DS will reboot. Once it's reboot, put the SD card back in. It'll create some new folders and here you go, sysnand and emunand are now separated."
That is if you format sysNAND, so you can keep Emunand. After it's done, load Emunand and update

You do know how to make a NAND backup, right?
So i formatteed sysnand and emuNand, now I'm update emuNand to newest firmware. Was i supposed to format sysNAND after the emuNAND update?
