plaza says i don't have any mii's in my mii maker, so I guess not.

Did you do OTA transfer, I am pretty sure all the other ways involve you taking out your sd card mid transfer thus messing up emunand on the system

I did the option to migrate via PC.

"boot up the emuNAND on your N3DS and the sys transfer will open automatically will finalize it's thing. Let it do it." This part never happened.

Should I install the patcher cia, apply the patches and then go to the transfer app in settings myself?

I am not sure, I have only done OTA but yes you need to run patcher if you want to access system transfer to complete the second part. This could be an issue since when written 9.5 didn't need a spoof and by resetting you no longer have eshop patched

It seems that by not doing the second part the ticke.db has not been fully established yet

I installed it, applied the patches and all system transfer says is that I can't transfer for 7 days. :\

Yes it's showing as a new transfer not a incomplete. Yeah sorry you will just need to wait it out and do ota next time

I thought there was problems with doing the transfer all wirelessly before.

Hey @Ronhero - Thanks for the guide, this is awesome! If I were to install multipatcher to sysNAND and spoof my sysNAND versions for O3DS/N3DS, could I transfer from sysNAND to sysNAND? Or even emuNAND to sysNAND?

I have valid 9.2 and 9.0 sysNAND backups respectivley for my units, just no hardmod so I'm reluctant to try unless someone else has done it.

Basically I'm after getting a sysNAND backup of my N3DS with my legit NNID, then I'll unlink my new emuNAND and be on my way.

Yea I have gone emumand to system nand and vise versa. Just make 100% sure you don't have any non legit cia files when transferring to system nand as this will brick your unit

Hm, so I'd have to run multipatcher as a ROM instead, rather than CIA. I never install to sysNAND so that shouldn't be a problem. Can you PM me a link for the multipatcher ROM? I could only find the CIA version around.

As far as I know there is no .3ds version. For system nand use either ntr or project pokemon rather then the app

Does NTR have the spoof built into the CFW then? I just set up rxTools for the first time and haven't really ventured into CFW land since I really had no need to venture outside of GW. Thanks for you're help too, I'm hoping to get this done over the weekend!

Looks like you would have to downgrade your current console, or upgrade the old console:

Source : 9.0-9.5 <---> Target : 9.0-9.5
Source : 9.6-9.8 <---> Target : 9.6-9.8

The problem with an n3ds on 9.6+ as the sending unit is since you can't go back to a o3ds and there is no way to downgrade I can't think of a way you can transfer to emunand currently
