rxMode is becoming the best emunand !
I'm happy to see GBA compatibility, thanks Roxas ! :gba:
For those asking for N3DS support, maybe someone with a n3ds should contact him for testing purposes?
Anyway, looking forward to see 9.x MSET loading!

How to relink : in rxtools, dump movable.sed file of emunand and inject it to sysnand, vice versa
beware all the setting of the existing sysnand will be gone
Does rxtools has option to dump and inject this movable.sed file? If not please give me the link of that software, and if possible a guide too.

It has injection option.
"Injection Options">>" Inject NAND Files", &restoreCoolFiles. Cool files includes the 'movable.sed'.
Also you could get the file out using "Dumping Options">>" Dump NAND Files". it means dumpCoolFiles.
Still i suggest you to make both NAND and emuNAND backup to your PC, and also a FAT16 xorpad for NAND..
With the xorpad you would be able to decrypt all NAND partitions your console have.
One can never be too cautious when backing up his NANDs.. Yup.

I should have clarified that I meant: more convenient in my N3DS
no, because it doesn't have n3ds support nor does it have a CCI loader like gateway does, i only use rxtools for the unsigned cias and emunand along with decrypted shit. gateway can do much more, the only thing rxtools has better than gateway is TWL and AGB support

Gateway is exactly like rxTools, except it has a DRM dongle. It actually does LESS than rxTools. The only feature it boasts now is .3ds file loading. Is that really "much more"?

Not sure you read my original post, I said that I check a few other CFW as well as this one. I also never said anything about more features, only more convenient. Emunand and signature checks patched out is all I'm really looking for, only without needing to keep my GW card in at all times.

Personally I find nothing "convenient" about 20 minute installs on the larger games, so gateway gets a win in that department for now, but gateway also costs money which I'm not willing to shell out.

ima stick with the good old 2.5.2 for now coz the latest builds seem to have alot of problems even after a successful install plus the devmode is removed, and i need that to launch cubic ninja homebrews, ninjahax seems to only work correctly in devmode, everyother combo of patches results in a reboot-error or a fail to launch....

I've been away for a while... I have all models of the 3ds. My 4 year old son uses his 2ds exclusively... I have a gateway, but don't like the idea of having the 2ds connected to the internet for the exploit... Just too much risk in the hands of a 4 year old. For now, I've just installed legit cias for him which are his favorite games anyway... Does rxtools offer offer any type of offline entry point to load rxmode on 2ds? Is anything in the works?

Hey guys, not sure if you are aware, but there is a way to boot RxTools without the use of the Browser, here is the trick:
link to the required files:

I quote: "
Now we will want to change the msett on you 3DS again (actually there is none right now as you just formatted your system memory and wiped it out) so that when you go to "Profile", "DS Profile" it will boot rxTools instead of the Gateway Launcher. This is very handy in case you got no internet.
-Remove the SD card from your 3DS and place it into your computer.
-Open the webMultiloader folder and execute webMultiloader.
-Choose number 5 .
-copy the code.bin file it generates to the root of the SD card.
-remove the SD card and place it into your 3DS.
-Boot it up and open your camera app.
-Choose the qr code button in your lower left corner to scan the qr code include with webMultiloader, it will open a web page, do so.
-the browser will load the code and crash, you will be returned to your homescreen.
-Choose "Settings", "Profile", "DS Profile" and it should now boot to rxTools.
-Now you are done.
"

I apologize if posting links is forbidden, or if it has already been posted elsewhere. too lazy to look through the 250 pages...
Anyway, is it possible to run DS games through rxTools, and if possible, can someone link me to a tutorial or something ?
Also, I'm actually running rxTools 2.6 and I have an R4i linker for DS games, the problem is: I read somewhere that running a ds game will reset the DS exploit. is there anyway to remedy to that without having to reinstall everything ?
Thanks.
