let's make a thread like the game essentials about shops...
we already had shoptemp, but its long dead... and a forum thread is something always nice..

gbatemp sponsor will stay on top, because they help gbatemp and had been around for years... that's the only special threatment, everything else is like the others >:C

I like the idea of this thread! I don't have a Gateway on me anymore, a friend ordered that for me somewhere. But I bought my Acekard years ago at this Chinese mall, they had many cool things for sale.

I bought my Gateway from Playmods.co.uk, It came quickly and there were no extra charges or anything so positive vote for them.
I bought my Sky3DS from 3dscarduk.com also came quickly with no problems so once again a positive vote.

I bought a gateway from 3DSCardUK.com in December and it arrived within two weeks. I had some problems with shipping because I put the wrong address on the online form, when I contacted them they told me not to worry and to give them the right address and they'd resolve the issue. They did. Pretty pleased with their service and I would use them again if I needed to.

I also used 3DSGamerWorld.com in April to replace my Gateway card as I lost in in the city while clubbing. It arrived within two weeks, good service and good prices.

I'd recommend both, but if I had to pick the better it would be 3DSCardUK

I bought my Gateway from new3dscard.co.uk (Now known as 3dscarduk.com). The experience felt fishy at first, but they eventually came through.
Main issue with them is shipping time. If they are out of UK stock OR you are outside the UK, they ship from Singapore, and that can take weeks.

I got mine from modchipsdirect.com. It took more than a month to arrive in the US even though I paid for 1-2 day shipping. Customer support was terrible as well. Don't buy from them.

EDIT: The regular shipping was 5$, fast shipping was $14 something, so they basically stole a little over 9$ from me.

+1 to www.ozmodchips.com, ordered my SKY3DS from there (blue button). It's listed as an Australian retailer but I was able to purchase one and get it shipped to the U.S. My primary concern was payment, I paid via debit/credit but I had to use Western Union to send the money to a bank account in Australia, and then email them the MCTN tracking to verify payment. Looked very sketchy, since I've never ordered a cart online before, but it arrived approximately two weeks after confirmed payment. It also arrived with no packaging via FedEx, just the Sky3DS in a bubble envelope. At least it was a legitimate blue button cart.
