A little off topic, but anyone can upload a compiled cia version of sysupdater please?

Or help me to solve this error when I try to compile it myself :

Code:
No rule to make target « /home/user/sysUpdater/devkitARM/3ds_rules ». Stop.

Install ctrulib ;)
The devkitPro updater has it as an option, or you can grab the source and compile it.

I always wondered though; if this sis the case, how was DevMenu able to be installed in sysNAND then? Is it because it's an official 3DS program?
Well, the devmenu you use is also modified. But you probably installed it when the sig pathes were applied ( with gateway or the leaked cfw).

Ah okay, I didn't know DevMenu would not load in sysNAND if the Gateway card wasn't in. I thought it would. :)

This should now detect the right firmware version automatically. If the firmware is unsupported it will display an error and refuse to load the CFW.

Simply replace the arm9payload.bin file from the OP with this one, load brahma and the arm9payload as usual, and press START to load the CFW once you have verified that the detected firmware version looks correct. When enough people confirm it's working, I will make it autoboot the CFW by default so there is no need to press START. :)

If people have any problems with it detecting the wrong version, simply tell me the contents of the "FIRM: KERNEL:" line, which firmware it detects and which firmware you actually have and I'll have it fixed shortly. Unless there are errors in the list on 3dbrew that shouldn't be an issue though.

Edit: Added source

Great work. I will test this tonight and give you a feedback :)

Sorry can someone help I dont want to seem stupid but it does work on 4.3.0FWO3DSXL?. I have unzipped the Pasta CFW loader 0.1.3 to the route of my sd card boot up the 3ds gone into CN loaded QR Code but the screen pops up with wanting to take a picture, it doesn't boot into the CFW screen at all. Sorry what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Edit: do you need to install NHax for this to work cause I thought the NJhax only worked on FW 9.2xand not on 4.1.0 - 4.5.0FW?

Cool to see some progress, the more automatism, the better, 3DS is way more complex than the PSP or the DS was and this might block the casual users from using haxx.

Also am I the only one not satisfied with games as .cia? Would it be possible to have a homebrew that'd launch games as .3ds and manages the saves the same way as Gateway? Witch CIAs I don't know where my saves are and it upsets me a lot...

Yeah, hopefully this gets merged upstream.

Simpler than follow the instructions in the op....
Anyway you didn't install ninjhax, that's your problem
