i bought my sky3ds just for cubic ninja. now that im done im planning to resell it. would i still need it in the future?
i have read that you cant change network setting on New 3DS once you downgraded the system setting, is this true? Say if im planning to travel elsewhere and have different wifi connection, would i need to restore original system setting to access another available wifi?

Is it just me or are these getting more and more complicated? I'm scared to even try this new update incase something goes wrong
This is just an alternate entry point exploit, if you don't feel comfortable with it, stick with the exploit that works for you.

quick question I'm currently using 3.1.1 version of gw. If i replace the launcher.dat would I still be able access the gw menu using CN and is there a chance this would mess up my emunand?

I guess we still have to use the mset.cia file the first time? Because I tried to install directly the .nds file and changed nothing. System settings still in 9.0.0-20 and DS profile is still the original one.

I haven't changed the launcher yet but I assume it change nothing because it should output an error when you try to load the ds profile if it was working one (as when you don't have a launcher.dat file on the sd card).

Possible to install .cia files to sysnand now. Does that also apply to classic mode as well?

It was possible to install .cia file to sysnand before this update.

Nice update, haven't tried it yet but this should make using Gateway and Ninjhax simultaneously much more convenient, shouldn't it?

Install Cubic Ninja cia to Sysnand
It's broken on startup because it's not legit
Boot into sysnand GW mode to run it

nope not just you, i feel the same way LOL i wont touch this update.

i already was scared enough to update to the one with convenient Settings DS profile exploit!! i just had to take the risk as Swapping oot with gw card was friggin annoying for me,

i am way to scared to mess up my emunand even if i have it backed up i might not be able to recover it correctly and it would be hell to lose all my Saves from the Manyyy cia games i have installed ;A;

I don't find this to be that hard, what I find is most people don't bother reading. You can tell by the number of people with Old 3/2DS's that keep saying it doesn't work on their. (no shit, it says for New 3DS only), people who can't bother reading all the help in the various threads, since most problems people been having have been discussed and figured out, and yet people keep asking the same questions over and over.

People, learn to read. Take your time. Go thru the threads. Use your brain. And if you don't like the steps or aren't sure, then don't install it. We still have 2 other methods of getting Gateway working on our New 3DS's.

Me, I've been taking my time. Like all updates, I wait to see what everyone else has to say. This time waiting really paid off because Gateway did another update that made it even easier (don't need to take my mSD out now). So unless there is another update today, I'll probably install the MSET exploit this weekend.

Those that English is a second language, well, I can understand why it would be a bit harder for you, English sucks and Gateway instructions appear to be written by someone who English is a second language.

And also stated by me, I keep getting black screen with devmenu.

I believe devmenu is not compatible with new 3ds LL.

The problem is there is more then 1 version of devmenu.3ds

In the big thread of the previous update (from 2-3 days ago) people have listed exactly which version of devmenu you need.

Someone even posted a link to the 4.5 CFW that apparently has the proper devmenu.3ds in it.

Everything should be in the file you download from Gateway's site.
Install the devmenu provided to your 3DS (use bigbluemenu or FBI on your red card to install devmenu.cia to your 3DS), then install the settings app via the devmenu.
