Few more questions on N3DS SYSNAND with downgraded System Settings:
Do the Home Menu (top left icon) settings still work?
I'm talking about Themes/Brightness/Power save/Wireless toggles?
Guessing Themes is fucked at least?

So for the old3dS all I gotta do is replace the old launcher.dat with the new one and that's it? I dont need any of that mset cia, etc??

Everything you mentioned works like it did before installing MSET.

You're thinking way too much about this, if you still haven't installed (or you might not have GW or something), back-up sysNAND, and restore if you don't like what you see after that.

Restoring NAND is quick and simple with Gateway and you don't lose any Games/Saves.

For anyone whos wondering if playing a NDS game will remove the mset exploit, it doesn't

Exploit still working totally fine after running a DS game on sysnand

I can confirm

if you play any DS title you can't install DS file exploit using the blue GW card ( I've already installed whitelist so I can use the blue card in the sysNAND )

You have to use ( zelda OOT or Cubic ninja ) to install NVRAM again to access the DS file exploit

Questions:
-- Has anyone actually tried using the blue card (with flashcardtimewarp.cia + mset.cia) and confirmed that it works to install the exploit?

I have tried a moment ago and i can confirm: Blue card gw_installer.nds won't work.
Installs the exploit but when you go to the ds profile the system crashes.

it removed nothing for me i went straight in to gateway mode after playing a DS game & it worked. i think the made the DS profile exploit permanent on the N3DS

Maybe because it only launches if the flashcardtimewarp cia is installed.

my sysn fw is 9.0 and emunand is 9.4

Seemed to have fixed my problem. Switched my N3DS internal 16gb SanDisk mSD card out with a clean 4gb samsung 4gb mSD. Everything is working now.
