Still seem to not be able to use the editor will try on Firefox.

EDIT: Problem was solved while using firefox not sure why it won't work on Chrome.

This is a long shot, but I really want to change my TPC picture purely for local play to make my girlfriend jealous.
If anyone trusts me enough to tell me how to do it, I'd be forever grateful.

I'm trying to put beaches on three sides of my town. But for whatever reason, my game bricks when I put any beach types on the side that doesn't have beaches. Anyone know why?

Ok, so I have a little question: When it comes to house exterior editing, I've seen the option to "place" the different exteriors on the map as if they were objects, but wasn't brave enough to try it, since it doesn't seem like the logical way to change the house decorations. Does anybody know the proper way to do it? I'd hate to mess up...

You have to edit the code directly using an editor like HxD

I documented all of the information concerning where everything is located, including room size, and everything is in the spreadsheet linked on the ACNL editing thread :)

If you're not familiar with HxD, I made a couple guides that I'll try finding again.

Simple question: If you have Lloyd set up to do a PWP, you move his location with the editor? My projects are maxed out, but it would be cool to rebuild some on the beach and hold the completion ceremony there.

I miss the functionality of the AC:WW map editor. Do you guys think this is heading in that direction or will it not ever get any more advanced than it is?

I think what we have now is as best as it's going to get. These programs have had very little updates over the last few weeks, and no word from their developers about expanding functionality. (Unless I missed it amongst all the other topic chatter)

I feel like it's all still pretty new though. none-the-less, I kind of like the challenge. Having to go as far as hex-editing. It give you more of a sense of accomplishment.

Has there been an update to the map editor? I edited my river but the waterfall is out of place.

I have the same problem. Infact I think it's a known issue but I'm not sure. Any time I edit the wall of the town that is just cliff and try to convert it to beach, it corrupts. And there doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the waterfall at all. I'm uncertain if it can be fixed or not.
