How is the map editor used, do you just inject the ram file into the game again after it has saved the new layout of you map?

If you're going to move houses, you're going to have weird invisible barriers and/or walkways until you save and shut down your 3DS, so don't freak out when it happens.

Example: I changed an acre's river layout, which put a house REALLY close to the river. When I saved and reloaded, I was able to walk around the house even though I was walking over the river.

Then I moved the house and even though it moved properly, I was still able to walk over the river as if the ground was there. After I saved and restarted the 3DS, everything was 100% normal.

Can you dump dream towns? I was going to try it but didn't have the chance.

It's safe.

The only precautions would be making your town look unnatural which would probably screw up your file.

ex: Making small parts of river all over the map.

Is no one going to answer my question? D: I guess I'll have to find out for myself :(

Dumping dream towns work. In fact, most things, if not all, are included in the dump. (dressers, villagers, badges, etc)

I have not tried injecting them yet, and I probably will not.

Yeah, the waterfall itself is bound to an outer-acre most likely. The data is editable, but the .exe that's available to use doesn't allow us to make those changes..
Aww that sucks. Oh well I'm don messing around for tonight maybe there will be an updated version soon that can move the waterfall maybe. Also is there gonna be an update for the map editor that shows where buildings are on the map? I know we can count the coordinates but a map on the building screen would make things easier.

I agree. Not being able to see buildings makes things a struggle. For now I've been putting bells at the 4 corners of buildings to help visualize.
