with a save dongle or gateway. you might be able to delete data by holding A+B+X+Y when starting the game (I didn't know this trick before)

Thanks everyone for the tools, its a lot of fun.

Won't a ram dump just load the map? I didn't use LeafTools to back it up either :l

RAM dump has villager data, pockets, buildings, acres, etc. I don't know if you'll get it ALL back, but you should get most back. Safest place to load the dump is in the train station or somewhere on Main st.

Will I have to do the permit and all that crap all over? D:

You're in uncharted territory, my friend. If you didn't have a save data backup and you can't get into your current save, you kind of don't have a choice..

I have the acnlram.bin thing but I didn't use the leaftools to back it up. I already made a new town and saved, I'm about to load my original RAM... Wish me luck D:

I thought you can't inject or dump without loading a player into the map.

no, its literally the whole games save, so you delete the town and then set up a new game and plant the tree and then restore the save using the qr code and then walk out the town hall and everything will be like your old town

Alright, I'm onto moving my buildings and tings around and understanding coordinates hasn't ever really been my strong point, so by starting at 16x16 do they mean you just count from there on the X and Y?
