I have a Pokemon Groudon N3DS from Japan. I assume that I will need a Japanese copy of Cubic Ninja when this is finally released? I already have the US version, but that's not going to work in my Japanese console, right?

We've no interest in blocking Sky3DS. Not going to name names, but the only people/person who's readily aware of how to do it probably doesn't want to share code. And that's fine.

Where did that even come from anyways, blocking a card... guys carry on with your work.

well considering the only homebrew apps worth running are piracy enabling emulators I would say 95% of ppl are interested in this to use it for some form of the p word. So yes only reason I'm interested in Karl is to pirate out dated video game systems with the full power of my n3ds

I was rather talking about the kind of p that you need a Sky3DS for. The kind of p you will still need a Sky3DS for when karl goes public. So you might not belong to the people I talked about.^^

70 thousand copies of cubic ninja presumably, but if they are porting to spider and MSET....i think 70k copies is perfectly usable for the small number of n3ds users who want to use karl3ds, the majority of karl3ds users would likely be using original 3ds/XL/2DS

And what about a flashcart that's one and only purpose is accessing the ninjhax exploit (not exactly a Sky3DS but something similiar, probably without a micro-SD slot and just CN on it)? For a retail price of... let's say 30 bucks. Shouldn't be impossible, right?

Well, flash cart manufacturers sell their carts in a shady grey area, claiming you can play "legal backups", but selling a bootleg copy of Cubic Ninja, that's definitely illegal and far from happening.

I thought about this, too. So an internal memory of 128MB (just enough for one small game) it is. :D

Well, this is basically conjecture, but I think this is exactly why Gateway is not willing to use Cubic Ninja as their entry point for N3DS. From what I heard, their miimaker exploit (still conjecture) is breaking some games or some other shit and hence the delay.

Edit: Way off-topic. Sorry :P

you guys had mentioned at one point that this would enable the ability to install legit cia files. how is this done? wouldn't you need to be able to run a version of dev menu which in itself isnt a legit cia file. lol im just way too curious about how this is all gna work.
