Lol I think this just shrunk like 10 pages :P

Those weren't pages you know? More like useless trash.

My only interest on this project is to be able to load emuNAND from an 4.5> entrypoint, so my retail saves wont get corrupted and finally play smashbros, oh, and to take rid of the ugly MTCard emunand language bug.

I am mostly interested in full CSND access so that the currently released Homebrew apps have full sound compatibility with N3DS. :)
Oh and also perhaps making use of the extra hardware for better performance!

Thank you soooooo much to the mods for finally cleaning out this topic. Following this project should be much more pleasant now! :D

Like I said before, "we" aren't really in control of the OP. We can't add our progress or clarify what it actually means, and unfortunately... everyone but me is asleep or at work/whatever.
ask the OP to give access to the first post to all members who are working on this project, so then everyone involved can update the first post as needed

yah! full CSND access will be great!..its the only reason why i dont really use homebrews right now :P and with access to all the hardware it could lead to great homebrews! .. annnnnd being able to install an emuNAND will of course, be a great + for the N3DS!..cant wait to install stuff as CIAs..

The csnd stuff is awesome. But the emunand. Ohhh baby.

Can finally get emunand on my old and new 3ds. Transfer my stuff. Keep the hackability and ditch my old one.

And I can streetpass again!!! My local game store buddy's been begging me to bring mine by.

it would be easier for the OP to just give access to team members so they can edit the first post with relevant info....save dragging the mods down here every time they want to add something they want to add
Yeah that too.
I am not too familiar how much privileges can an admin give to an user without making them mods in a certain thread though.

Might be worth the try, Dazzozo

Okay, Fifteen reports cleared out of the report center, ~45 posts deleted, numerous warnings handed out, a few complaints about warnings responded to.
Isn't this just a beautiful day.
I don't know who was handling this thread before but it looks like I'm going to get to hang out here, now.
I'd like to thank a majority of you for remaining civil and for trying to return the thread to topic. If I deleted one of your comments it was likely a response to some other post that had to be deleted, or it may have possibly been collateral damage. Shit happens when you have to take a shotgun approach to cleanup.

Know that future discussion of using Karl3DS for piracy is disallowed in this thread.
Insulting one another will get you warned. No I don't care if you started it or if you just joined in.
And appearing to be a continual nuisance can get you locked out of the thread.

for any thread, the OP can allow other users to edit the first post....helpful for projects with more than 1 contributor, its as simple as doing this

saves the OP having to manually add stuff from all contributors and can help people wanting to follow the thread stay informed without wading through the whole thread

This is so welcome. Thankyou.

I hope this makes the devs work easier. And eases their moods.

Thanks! I'll do this quickly before I head off.

Good luck with that, I'll leave you a tiny hint an say that yifanlu leaves out a lot of crucial parts to how it works unlike the ARM11 kernel exploit. I'm sure you noticed as well that as he got deeper he also got more and more vague. It's kinda annoying, but if you manage to get ARM9 and release it openly then awesome, and we'll probably open up that part as well I guess. We're a bit overly cautious sometimes though, but with good reason I guess.

Also, since we can't always have good news, we have our first bug on N3DS. Our firm launching procedure somehow breaks 3D. If you leave 3D on, you can use it but it breaks face tracking. Likewise, if you leave it off, it stays off while in the CFW and moving the 3D slider causes this weird interlacing between the two 3D layers. We hope to fix this though, it's a very strange bug.

interesting i wonder if thats one of the bugs preventing gatewait from releasing, kind of dumb if thats the case but interesting none the less.
c stick and z buttons work still tho?

The requirement of CN is probably the "bug preventing gatewait from releasing". :D

Just uneducated speculation on my side here but face tracking is kinda cpu intensive isn't it? So it would make sense that Nintendo would use the new second cpu core for that task to not slow down games. Maybe after the softreboot the second core didn't wake up or something like that?
