ROM Hack Pokemon shuffle

i must sound like a noob, but how can we dump the memory of things we want?
how could i use this to dump the memory when i am playing a game? wouldn't i have to exit the game to run this memdump thing?
Certainly not. Just go to the browser while game is running and launch the spiderhax and dump your application memory. It'll still be there as long as you didn't close the game.

The first 0x4000000 (64 megs) of the dump is game memory, the rest, os stuff (home_menu, browser etc.).

Because it is run from the web browser, the application is backgrounded and still loaded into memory.

the browser, ok sure that makes sense :) thanks for the replies.
and when i see an address + value that i like the look of, is it difficult to make a 'code.bin' file to set it to what i want?
is it as simple as giving a code.bin 'template' the address and value?

So Nintendo just put out a new firmware release for the 3DS. Does this hack still work, or am I now gonna have to delete the game from my 3DS because of the hack being blocked?

So Gateway users won't be able to use "shuffleshop" at all, right? Because our SysNAND won't be above 9.2 and we can't use eshop to get the game outside of EmuNAND.

My save manager (on TubeHax) is not being able to import it. It crashes after trying.
Do you know what's happening?
