If this could manage to get sound on hb and region free on n3ds I would be more than happy! If it also gives a speedboost to hb that would be just amazing :)

Of course it would! I mean, this is about having kernal access to make all this (and more!) happen! :D

Can you two confirm that Ninjhax works (or doesn't) on 8.1.0-0J, as there seems to be some confusion surrounding it.

No confirmation, sorry pal

It's just a deduction we've come to because 8.1 systems don't come with a web browser. Trying to launch it prompts an update and unless I'm mistaken the ninjahax entry point needs the browser?

So I guess another question I should be asking is is there anyway to get my sysNAND to 9.2 (or 9.X, X<3) ?

Not sure if this is helpful at all, but was not getting the expected output:

unless, I'm somehow misunderstanding something?

old 3DS XL sysNand 4.4.0-10E

Currently me and Relys are working out 4.x, at the moment we've found that it does reach ARM11 kernel, however it crashes on dcache invalidation. No idea why though.

So what exactly needs testing? Is the loadcode/spider expoit version ready yet or is it just Cubic Ninja entry point you have ready for testing right now? I have a 4.3U sysnand I can test on. But I don't own Cubic Ninja currently. :(

No, Smealum's Ninjahax doesn't work, you can't even choose 8.x N3DS Firmware from the selector.

Looks like entry point.

When I try to build it I get "fatal error: cstdio: No such file or directory".

I've tried about 10 times. I always get this screen :(

Try with the latest build, if you were on 4.x before then t here was a bug with SVC 0x7B. It got patched, but it crashes on 4.x. I'm hoping for some people with 5.x-7.x so we can see how far up this bug will affect users. Either way, on the newest build it should return f00ff00f since SVC access fails.

my GW compatible one is on FW 7.1 but I will manually update it to 9.2 using cia's when I get around to doing so.
Now before you go doing something silly like updating, run the bootstrap test and post the results. Nobody has posted 7.1 results yet.

It's my understanding that this project is primarily focused on Ninjhax as an entry point.
