hmm... Should i format my sysnand to be sure?

as i said in other post, the system format dont work and dont demonstrate nothing...when you register a NNID , your console mantain attached to your old NNID unless you create a dummy NNID and try to attach ur banned console

on nintendo technical support said that your NNID continue attached to your console till you take it over another console....format dont eliminate this attach....

Test NNID banned on a new console is only another test to clarify the ban method

greetings

Now, I am getting kind of curious. I am thinking the header is an encrypted version of the information that is printed on the back of the game card, encrypted of course with a key, that only Nintendo has. If this is the case, then even mismatching private headers won't be safe for online play. Also, that would mean a person who was banned for using a public header, won't be able to go out and buy the exact game he was banned for, and give its serial number, as it would be different from the one in that public header.

The info printed on the back of the cart, is a 4 character Game code, followed by a letter or number, followed by 5 numbers.

The only thing that is likely to be completely safe, is actually buying, and dumping the game card yourself, and then storing the card you dumped, so that no one else gets to it.

I agree with that 100% but a lot of people who buy these carts mainly get them to play games with out paying for them.

the only retaliation we can give Nintendo is to lie to them and say "it wasn't me"

then its just our word against theirs... see what happens...

Thank you very much!!! is a test we need to see where the ban applies....but be careful please, we dont want your N3DS banned!!!

greetings

hi I've not posted on here much but have been reading for years
im a technician at a second hand retailer so i currently have my own old 3ds and a gateway
im not banned currently and i have a nnid attached to the console
i also have access to a large quantity of damaged 3DS's for testing as well as second hand units
so is there a specific list of tests you need doing

if so pm with the list and and relevant headers etc you want testing as i can test them risk free to see whats going on
for example on my bench now is a US 3DS and a UK 3DS both have issues making them unfixable to sell but great for testing

Okay, I am a real noob to be honest. Where does one find their own headers through retail games they bought? And how does one dump their own headers in the SKY3DS? I am a lost person in this world.

And I tested the NNID thing while transferring from banned console to a new one. Seems like on the new one, I can go on the net and stuff fine, Youtube and such are fine, no error codes. This proves that these bans are console serial code bans.

If you are able to help me out, it would very much be appreciated mates!

I'm curious, has anyone been working on a solution to these bans?

if we dont know clearly which is the ban target, its impossible make any solution....and i think arent a real solution if the target is Console ID unless somebody knows how to spoof it....and just now nobody knows how locate that ID....if u are ban....buy another console if you want to play online

PD: 1 hour ago, i connected to Nintendo connect my IE3 The Ogre with public header ...and continue working online...no bans here....my luck is awesome!!! ....i think the public header related ban only happend when connect 2 or more users with the same header during a determinated period....who knows...

I was wondering the same but it the same as not going online since you need a NNID to use online features IIRC

mmmmm who said that lie to you? i havent NNID , and i can connect pokemon alpha saphire without problems and IE3 The ogre.....you can use online without NNID, only u cant use is miiverse and some eshop features....

You're 100 percent on target there my friend

I HIGHLY doubt it to be completely honest. Seeing as how it's the 3ds console serial number/console id's that are being banned, and not the actual nnid accounts.

maybe...i connected a lot of times since day 4 to GTS and ...my connection already works...

to the mate who said about NNID and console ID....who said to you that the method they use is take NNID and ban the associated console ID? if you dont have NNID, your console is not registered, and MAYBE you cant be banned...but as i said before...who knows...

the point is, and alot of you seem to be overlooking this, is that these are console id bans. meaning they look at the specific identification number of the console that used the public header at the same time as the legit cartridge, and banned that console. this has absolutely NOTHING to do with nnid's

are u sure? and if they attack console ID for NNID association?

in other words...they locate public header used for an NNID , find his console ID associated, and ban the console...for example....its not hard to imagine....meanwhile we havent more tools to judge the issue root....u cant discard NNID as ban method

greetings

That's safe no ban too with private header on monster hunter 4 ultimate :) too
its a 90% clearly dat the public header is the objetive of this bans....so Sky3ds users are seriously fuked at online related...so wifi shutdown till sky3ds group take any solution(unless they need NNID for ban console id ;) )

You know that we can add our own header data to the template...right?

So private headers are safe?

SEEMS like it however more people need to test with ONLY private headers to find out. I'm using my old 3dsxl and playing online with smash everyday with my own private header to see what happens after 1 week. On day 3 and no issues.
