I stuck a extract the EmuNand from the SD.
I read every Post, but i dont find a solution for the Read failed Error= 87.
I use Windows 7 64 bit and test it with a 2GB SD card and a 4GB card.

Yes, but this will just activate the DS profile exploit. Be sure to follow each step of the tutorial and you should be able to launch the CFW

Only with Gateway Flashcard.
Without Flashcard, you can only install cia's on 4.5 CFW
Say you were to install emunand on a 4.x console, like this tutorial shows us to. The emunand starts out at the 4.x firmware. Now say you used CFW to to install .cia files that require a later firmware, but then updated to the latest firmware, ALL WITHIN THE EMUNAND. Would that be possible? Would the games remain installed on emunand and be playable under 9.4?

Nope, You can install cia's to EmuNAND (RedNAND) 4.5 CFW, but when you update this firmware from 4.5 to another Firmware, you'll not be able to play the cia's anymore. it ONLY WORKS ON CFW 4.5

Note that the CFW is just the regular OS with signature checks patched, so updating the "CFW" would just update your SysNAND. You're correct, just elaborating.

Dang, that's unfortunate.
Thanks for responding.

That's not 100% true it seems.
It looks like the CFW is inside of the EmuNAND Partition (the RedNAND).
All configurations I did on CFW doesn't effect the OS (Internet Connection, Folders & AppIcon-Positions, Streetpass and Spotpass etc.)

If the CFW is just the regular OS with patched signature checks, it should be not like this, or not?

Hmm, really? Whenever I boot into the CFW and go into Settings, it boots me out of the CFW. Interesting. Can you set an Internet connection in CFW, reboot, and then not see it in sysNAND?

correct.

That's because it reboots your system completely and you get back to SysNAND. You have to restart the CFW again.
Btw. the same is happen to me when I use my EmuNAND 9.4. After I start System Settings, it will kick me back to the SysNAND after closing the System Settings.

correct.

Ohhh, I see. Thanks!
