Hello everyone,

I'm new to GBAtemp, so apologies if I do anything wrong.

I'm posting here because I don't know what I can do about this issue.

I've been playing RetroArch on my Wii U (I really enjoy earning RetroAchievements), but I've run into a problem with the **Final Burn Neo** core.

The version available for Tiramisu on the Libretro Buildbot for Wii U comes with RetroArch 1.18.0, while the latest version is 1.22.2

This affects Hardcore achievements, because if the RA isn't on a recent enough version, RetroAchievements won't recognize them as Hardcore.

I know Aroma version on RA have FB Neo with the update version, so I know it's possible.

Is there any way to update it for Tiramisu? If so, how would I go about doing it?

Would I need to compile a newer version of RetroArch or FB Neo myself?

I've been trying to figure this out for quite a while, but I haven't been able to find a solution.

I'd really appreciate any advice or guidance on this.
Thanks in advance!

Is PS1 basically unplayable? I tried running FF7 but the intro fmv lagged and stuttered so much. tried a bunch of settings too, with bioses installed
PS1 should be playable. I can run FF7 on my Wii and on my New 3DS XL. There was a time when WiiStation on vWii was a better, more stable option than anything native for Wii U, but the Retroarch Aroma build of the PS1 emulator should be able to handle FF7 now.

Well could you hit me up with your settings for ps1 then? I'd love to see if I can get it running better.

Also any system settings too. That's not core related. I'm using rgui for least ram usage

Edit: Should I try a different SD Card too? I doubt it's that but maybe
