That^ is what I'm most interested in. You're telling me I can use the webkit exploit alone to downgrade my firmware to something that is compatible with CFW?

Yeah if you have a 3DS/3DSXL. Fairly easy to do that.

This sentence makes no sense, scanning a code via miiverse is an alternative entrypoint to the browser instead of clicking the browser icon...

no... I'm pretty sure to use other launcher.dat files with gateway's GO exploit on newer firmwares you'd need to re-compile them to use the new addresses for rop gadgets and functions for that firmware...
