Yeah that is exactly what they did. I think they delayed it further and further because they ran into issues with the mii exploit but they have to give people something because they were getting really angry so they choosed to fuck over the minority over majority which makes sense though I would have done the same thing but the thing that irritates me is they just leave us in the dark. they tell us nothing. I mean come on... "Support for New 3DS is still a work in progress, please be patient!" who knows when they will release it. I sold my perfectly fine 9.2 3ds xl and bought N3DS just because of their video and announcements.

I know right? especially with all the soon hype and whatnot. I mean yes sure you don't want to dissapoint. so why don't you just update the community and say that there's some issues with N3DS sexploit so it might not make it. Just communicate damn you gateway!

Yes Emunand works on 9.2 I have it up and running. If you don't know how then CAREFULLY read a guide so you don't accidentally update your sysnand

Nope you can have emunand without downgrading, im on emunand just now with 9.2

I actually made a lot of purshases on the eshop with my 2DS (9.2), so from what I've understood, formatting the emunand will erase all the data of my SD card. I will lose all my games, right?

ist it just me or doesnt the japanese new 3ds 8.1 contain any web browser...? It asks me to update my console... well .. i hope there will be a mii hack in the final version :x

Nope. It's not needed to downgrade, I have set up emunand on my 9.2 and accesed eshop to test it and it worked just fine.
I bet the downgrade is just here for people who don't want to use internet acces each time the start gateway mode.

The BETA of the next version is live, ie. an unfinished version. Wait until it's finished.Seriously can you just stop whining now. I have a N3DS too and I'm itching to use gateway on it but I'm just being patient. Just go buy some games while you wait and play them.

The next update is not live. Beta. Beta. BETA. It's a test. Unfinished product.Also, that post does NOT, I repeat, DOES NOT state that N3DS will be supported in the "next update". It says they are in the process of finalizing support.

I'm whining about the fact that they released this update just to calm down the angry crowd and a minority got fucked over. And now that many people are happy they are just supporting them and overseeing the fact they did some wrong. I support GW , I don't regret choosing them. I know they are the best in business but they falsely advertise and that is a lie. A lie does not have to be so blunt it can be blurry too. They say they will support N3DS and all other 3DS' between 1.x and 9.2 , they even publish a video of their flashcard working on N3DS , they let people beta test and some people even leak photos of it working on N3DS. But they end up having trouble with MII exploit because It's messing up MII functionality so they switch over to a browser based exploit(I have a source on this) probably because that's why they had to postpone and stall it over and over again because they had to switch to a different method and they had to be quick. I'd be happy to wait months if they even care to shed some light on it.

i have to go the internet browser and activate the gateway again

also , i can't access to gateway menu again for some reason , only show the dragon , then back to 3DS menu
but this time the game menu list is working

At this point your whining is doing nothing apart from making you look stupid. I would recommend you just wait quietly.

Moaning like you are all the time isn't going to make the update come out quicker and will only make people on this forum hate you. People you may later need help from when the N3DS update is released.

1) The 3DS will always boot into sysnand, you have to use the browser to boot into gateway mode.
2) Hold L while activating the exploit to show the gateway menu.

for now, you have to relaunch the browser exploit each time you want to enter the gateway menu.

eject the card or hold L while booting into the dragon menu.

if you can have emunand on stock firmwares higher than 4.5 then what is the point of downgrading to 4.x firmwares ?

They didn't lie, and they're coming through with their promise and more (downgrading, restoring NAND with no hard mod? nice!).

How does this beta being released now fuck over N3DS users? You're just upset because people are getting to use their Gateway exploit before you. I wonder if you'd be championing non N3DS users if the N3DS exploits got released first...

No I expect explanation and your attitude is not appreciated. I wonder how would people react if this update was other way around supporting only N3DS... I bet there would be more people like me.

I would feel for them and be by their side because I'm against their attitude. I have a personal vendetta against these kind of things.
