You need to search the internet for bigbluemenu/devmenu, then you must ask the difference between the two, after that you need to drag and drop the .3ds to the red card, boot it up (optional: install .CIA for devmenu), then you need an sd card twice the capacity of the rom you want to install (You have 1GB game? Shame, you need 2GB), you must not enter data management, if you want to you must format emunand, .3DS is easier to find rather than .CIA, then if you want some sort of game that isn't .CIA you need to use wonky tools to convert it, and if you want it region free you must get rid of the region code etc etc

Those are silly things to me but to someone it might be complicated. The only two things you really have to worry about is the size of your SD card and not to enter data management everything else is smooth sailing

Not yet, they haven't released the downgrade. For now all we have is a Gateway mode boot exploit.

I just prefer drag an drop but the convenience for some is a deal breaker, and I can't argue with that.

I don't think we should whine just yet. I was annoyed at first, but I'm trusting Garyopa that it should be out within a week. And the mii maker exploit may even be quicker/easier than the browser exploit

I've just dumped 8 games, Oot,lbw,ac:nl,mk7,pw:r,sm3d,pl:mm, and smash bros. However, selecting Smash Bros brings up a fragmentation error. I decided to download a europe rom (as I've already dumped it) yet, I'm confused - because the rom I downloaded works. but the rom I dumped doesn't. And they're both from the same region.

Can anyone shed some light on whats going on here?

Guys I'm not going to read 79 pages about this but is this 3.0 update really necessary if you already have a 3DS on emunand 9.4, surely this update is just for users for upto 9.2FW who have not got a 3DS on 4.5.0FW in systemnand or do I have to still go through the steps of v3.0 anyway and if so what for what is it giving me?

Guys I'm not going to read 79 pages about this but is this 3.0 update really necessary if you already have a 3DS on emunand 9.4, surely this update is just for users for upto 9.2FW who have not got a 3DS on 4.5.0FW in systemnand or do I have to still go through the steps of v3.0?

Read the release again. It has an updated FPGA

I'm not lying on this. A reliable source told me that they went with the web version as the mii version messed up some mii functions and I don't trust Garyopa he knows as much as the next guy he's proven that with his countdown.

It will eventually, I dont think the wait will be long as this one was. GW currently owns 100% of the regular 3DS market, wont be any different with N3DS. Be patient its worth it.

So one question what about my retail game cards? Can I play them on emunand and use the savegames as well or do I have to dump them and move them to the red Gateway card?

Imaging how woud you feel if they were to release the update only for N3DS but regular 3DS owners had to be PATIENT.
