Hacking Gateway 3.0 : "Ultra"

afair updating emunand can cause you lose your cia dlcs though i usually reinstall them, dunno about cia games though i think they've still been there after i've updated emunand, but i've lost some dlc, themes etc. reinstalling them fixed the issue.

Well he's not updating his emuNAND, just the launcher version. His emuNAND is already 9.4.

Is it possible to load other people's save files? I'd like to play Zelda on Hero Mode before beating it normally.

I cant get it to work. Its the first time using the gateway, so heres what I did:
1. copy the files in the blue folder on the microSD for the blue card
2. copy launcher.dat on the SD card for the 3DS
3. try running the blue card -> black screen error (an error has occurred)
4. try running the browser exploit -> another error, though it just returns to the main menu
5. try running blue card again (same as 3.)

what did I do wrong?

P.S. I can confirm the blue card working and running on my old DS Lite

Updated emuNAND to 9.4 and games work fine, only problem i had so far is that only with smash bros, when i put close the game from menu, it takes you out of the emuNAND and you back to sysNAND, so you would have to run the browser thing again.

Wouldnt be a problem if yeah... we need to have internet connection to get into the emuNAND xD so playing smash outside is a bad idea

When Gateway will be available on my Japanese new 3DS LL, in which language PAL games will be displayed ? Because it's being displayed in French on my OG 3DS since the system is in French, but what if the system is in Japanese ?

I'm quite sure you always keep your launcher.dat on your 3ds sd not your gateway microsd

U are correct. But n00bs will place it on the GatewaySD and get "An error has occurred"

So, tech support time! I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong, but I have the Launcher.dat on my SD card (NOT the MicroSD), am on 9.2 Sysnand, and whenever I go to the launcher site, it loads the thing saying Gateway 3DS Loading, then "failed to load part of the page" and crashes. I've tried clearing both my cookies and my history on my 3DS multiple times and it hasn't helped.

Help?

That's been a known problem for a while. There is a workaround though. Push the home button then open the mii maker. It will ask to close suspended software, just click yes and continue. Then you can exit mii maker and return to the home menu

the blue card isnt needed if you have 4.6 or above firmware thats the DS mode exploit card for 4.1-4.5 3ds

To fix the Smash Bros. problem, just go to a different app like StreetPass Mii Plaza after suspending it. That way, you'll still stay on emuNAND.

On emuNAND? You just select the game you want to update from your list, then go to the eShop. Usually it'll tell you an update is available if you're online and you can just launch it to take you straight to the eShop.

OH SHIT! I fixed it! I cleaned history and cookies and launched it agian and BOOM it works <3

You don't need any card to get the browser exploit, it is confirmed working with no Gateway cards inserted (although you do need the card to launch into Gateway exploit later).

Here is what you need to do, step by step:

1) Turn off WiFi
2) Go to the Internet Browser
3) Clear History/Cookies by clicking the Wrench icon on the bottom
4) Insert URL (http://go.gateway-3ds.com)
5) 3DS will give you an error message, open the menu and bookmark this page
6) Turn on WiFi
7) Refresh the page (it should work at this point)

In the future, replace Step 4 with clicking your bookmark and loading it, then turn on wifi and refresh. This is what I do everytime and it works 100%.
