......so.......

How does an "around it" release work?

Any time before, during, or after. Could be days, could be weeks. Could be 1000 pages before it releases, and at this rate I expect it will be.
This is how I see the "around it".

yeah i already thought that, as it wouldn't make sense to use the current beta testers now (as they are on 4.5)

dont worry their main gateways domain is in china that means their time zone is same as china

No, it isn't. Gateway has nothing to do with China besides having the cards manufactured there. If you check the code on the Gateway website they are all based on UTC/GMT time.

Neither mean anything. We'll probably never know where they are, just that red finger nails is asian. :-/

They like being anonymous and you can't blame them...

Yup, Gateway can't risk getting their identity known to the public. They have to remain as discreet as possible. Their current set up is probably for the best. Provide a good product and service, anything else doesn't really matter.

So like many others, I'm a first time Gateway user. Until now, I'd forgotten about memory cards. Reading about CIA files and regular ROMs, I'm wondering which memory card I should get. I currently have an 8GB micro-SD card that I've been using with my R4, and the original SD card that came with my OG 3DS. Would I be better off with a 64GB SD card, and a 16GB micro-SD, or should I get a 64GB micro-SD with a 16GB SD card? I'll be playing online, so I suppose mainly using CIAs if that matters.
