Most game saves. You can also install games on the SD card as .cia files, if you go that route you will likely need an even bigger one. I personally bought 64 and 32 micro cards and will just use one with an adapter in the SD slot. Maybe overkill but I do not like switching out cards, they are to dang small.

Gotcha. So offline games (.3ds and .3dz) on the micro SD, and .cia (online games, etc) on the SD card. Thanks for the help guys!

So, according to what I've read about EmuNAND, is it possible to access it without the gateway card? (Like, AFTER you actually go through with installing the EmuNAND with the card and all that.)

.3dz games are online games. The only reason to go the .cia route is to have the games on your homescreen, not on the multirom menu. .cia dlc works fine with .3ds and .3dz roms if its the same region. So its really upto you whether you prefer having the games on the homescreen or in the menu.

A quick question ! somebody knows how to save the progress in a game with the gateway flashcard ?

Almost right. 3dz games are online, just run from the red card.

It is all very confusing at first. My head is still spinning trying to get all the game save options.
