Nice for scaring people, but to have a darker skin colour to blend in the dark and scare people.............
Nah, I'll pass. I'll settle with acting like an insane lunatic.
Well not anyone lol. That was a mistake. Haha. Just that it's a popular belief that white = more attractive in non white cultures.

Sounds good. Is there a need for a larger SD card as well or will the one that came with my system (a 4GB one) be sufficient?

It definitely won't be. I have already download all of the games I'm going to play, and they amount to about 45gb, but I'm just going to buy a $15 32gb from amazon and cycle through games.

And make sure that you buy a reliable SD card, preferably a name brand SD card.

I saw a 32gb class 10 microSD for $10, so I bought it. Turns out it's only 6.5gb :( Buying a name brand SD card reduces, and nearly eliminates, the chance of the card bing flashed (set and recognized as a false amount of storage).

Well......there's a reason why there's a lot of asian ladies marrying foreigners 'round these parts...
TBH, asian guys marrying foreign ladies are a rarity, almost unheard of.

odds are you will at least wanna double that so you have enough space for a few games and your emunand partition

Cool. What's the correct process of transferring data from one SD card to another? I heard you insert the new SD card into the system and let the 3DS format it, then transfer everything from the old to the new.

Yeah that is the gist of it

Cool, thanks for the help. So the general consensus is... a brand name microSD card (I'll probably go with a Transcend, 32GB class 10), and an SD card that's atleast 8GB? If games are stored on the microSD, what is stored on the SD card (besides the emunand partition)?

the micro sd card for the actual card itself if manly for .3ds or .3dz roms ( i recommend putting all of your offline games there) and the actual SD card is used for installing .cia (online enabled games similar to what you would buy in the eshop, and generally smaller in file size)

Most game saves. You can also install games on the SD card as .cia files, if you go that route you will likely need an even bigger one. I personally bought 64 and 32 micro cards and will just use one with an adapter in the SD slot. Maybe overkill but I do not like switching out cards, they are to dang small.

All this talk about SD cards' making me worried.

I have 2 16GB class 10 microSD and the 4GB one that comes with my N3DS. Should I stick one to my N3DS, or use both and switch em when using the red card?

Shh I don't say anything. Things are very close to finishing though. They are looking to release very close to Jan 1, depending on your timezone I guess.

Okay. Very close to Jan 1 ? After or before ? It is 5:30 of the morning (30/12) in France

Use one 16GB in the red card and the other in the system, throw that piece of trash 4GB one in the bin, or better yet send it my way (ill dispose of it for you, on ebay.)
