just look at the gateway page hourly not every 5 minutes its not possible that the update release at 8:15pm..

just 1pm, 2pm ...

That parameter only tells RSS clients how often they are supposed to check for updates. They can however post updates whenever they want.

How is it weird that its not released, they never set a date. If they said soon than thats all there is to be said about it.

I imagine the default date on a new 3DS is 1/1/2015, and they had it set up for 16 days before making the video.
