I was really stupid today and dropped my GamePad in a way the screen broke... so I can see nothing on the GamePad anymore... I bought a new Wii U and want to transfer my save games to the new Wii U, but I'm a bit confused by different internet sources.
Eventually it boils down to the two following questions of mine:
1. As I understood, the games I downloaded over the Nintendo eShop are bundled to my old Wii U, right? I must use this system transfer tool to be able to download the games on my new Wii U - otherwise I'd have to repurchase them?
2. With that comes the next question. What exactly does "system transfer"? My vWii mode is hacked to run homebrew stuff. Will the system transfer still work or detect a tampered vWii system and abort - or even ruin my new Wii U's vWii mode? Or is it just some savegame transfer and I have to re-hack the vWii mode on my new console?
E.g. I'm asking out for someone who was in the same situation, tried it and knows what happens.
