They won't drop it, they just want to get 9.2 support out asap, emunand will either come with it or close behind for 4.5 folks, and I'm sure they've got something up their sleeves for higher firmwares having it as well

Justly, thats why I was wondering. They didnt mention anything about launcher.dat that support 9.3 on emunand considering its the only way for people with 4.5 to continue playin

They didn't say anything between 2.4 & 2.5 either. They just released 2.5 after emunand got broken on 2.4.

gateway's own delay is hurting both the ppl with 9.0-9.2 consoles, and their 4.5 customers who can't use emunand

so true, i forgot people like free software, the innocence of the human race died when the internet became a standard issue thing , still i like trying a game before i pay my hard earned cash for it, i played a jp rom of omega ruby before i bought the real thing, im just but hurt i cant keep my save :'(

I think you're confused. They said to stay at 4.5 because 9.x will not have the same support as 4.5 [snip].

Did you read the previous gateway news post, I quote it below

Did YOU read their previous announcement? Sorry to be an ass, but we don't even know that they don't have emuNAND working on the 9.x update, all we know is they did not show it off in the video... And emuNAND is the only currently available feature in 4.x GW mode missing from the video.

I think they might have been saying stay on 4.5 because a) they don't want people updating before they released the update and getting loads of emails about when they're releasing the update, and b) because saves from 4.5 won't work on 9.X I believe
