Waiting for an update or confirmation from Gateway themselves if the 9.3 firmware has some effect or if it is safe to update. I think it was Phantom_User who said it best that they should have a better communication channel with their fans.

I think GW has done there part in updating there customer base. You're expecting them to give you updates every hr? Thats retarded.

Didn't say that, but there are a lot of questions that get posted on these forums that leads to endless speculation that could be resolved by a simple answer from Gateway. If something happens like this 9.3 update a confirmation from Gateway could save a lot of grief.

What grief has GW put on members, the members asked those questions so they put the grief on themselves. You either sit tight until the release or jump the gun and ordering everything now. Thats all personal preference.

There are advantages to finding a 4.5 vs a 9.2. I mean, its not that hard to write this stuff out on your own to get your answer on where you need to be in the next couple of days. So far we have members worried that they won't be able to update to 9.2, in fact nobody is able to update to 9.2 now since the update rolled out yesterday afternoon. So where do you want to be now, what firmware do you want on your 3ds now? What 3ds do you want to purchase with what firmware? If you can't even answer those simple questions yourself than I'll be damn how you're gonna handle life. Pick a route and stick to it or else its going to end up costing you.

I just read through all 18 pages. Here's what I gathered:

- emuNAND is confirmed to not work on 9.3 (thanks to Arnold0 for that confirmation)
- Speculation, speculation, speculation!
- AUS N3DS' come with 9.0 (or was it 9.1?), JP N3DS' come with 8.x or maybe 9.1
- Some new user joined just to post a screenshot of a Taiwanese emuNAND on 9.3, not realizing that Taiwan firmwares don't follow the same scheme as other regions (i.e. 9.3.x-xxT = something lower in other regions)
- the_randomizer getting annoyed that people are panicking for nothing

....and that's pretty much it. Classic GBATemp!

Hi !! As always, with every update, normally change the ssid. In this case only NintendoSpotPass4 works in Spain alone with StreetPass function without putting internet. Thank you for your attention.

You should be able to. I was able to play Smash 4 online on 9.2, so you should be able to play Pokemon with no problems as well. The only thing you won't be able to do is access the eShop to update any patches, so be warned.

So you can play online on the nintendo 3ds while in game without any updates downloading in the background or does that only happen when you are in the main nintendo 3ds menu?
