Poster of this thread seems reputable in that forum. The rumor is that "DSTwo+" would retain all existing features but can run 3DS ROMs. Supported system version and everything else is unknown...

Well, yeah, only if you care too much about having an hybrid card, but the actual support for the 3DS on those cards is not good.

It must be that I don't care too much about DS roms anymore.

If I were to buy a multifunction card I'd buy from them first since their track record has been on point so far.

i really hope not... come on, theese new cards are a totall shit, no menu, no homebrew, no cool stuff like cheats\screenshots etc...

and for 3ds there is no reason to get one ultra expensive card, i miss the old psp days... where you had CFW and done... the only reason i get a card for my DS is it doesn't have a memory...

There is a pretty convinving reason - there is no CFW. Also homebrew should be available in less than a week anyway (hai smealum).

Logically, if the SuperCard team develops a linker for Nintendo 3DS , it should bear the name "DSThree" not DSTwo+ ...​

tbh if gateway fix AGB_FIRM and TWL_FIRM, you could actually make DS/i installable cia files, which could actually be better, im guessing if its true they would of been basing it on the old 4.x exploit....idk would be good to have a properly independent dev team working on it but at this point i think gateway has done pretty much everything people could want...once they fix ds/gba support in emunand all anyone else could really try do is compete on price....unless they plan to add a quad core processor into it so people can emulate the wii

They already did something to that because you can access the ds profile in emunand now.
