Guys can we just install the dev menu cia through the dev menu onn the gateway so we dont have to use gateway for dev menu?

what exactly did he do to that one that makes it work? according to a magical source, I should be able to install these cia files with devmenu, but that aint happening.

He just decrypted the csu version with the CTR Decryptor, and repacked it with makerom (and a badly done exheader).

The main difference is that Govanify's repacked version is set as an SD app.

Actually that exheader is what makes it installable in the CFW. If you try to repack one yourself you'll see it won't run from the SD card (you'll have to install to NAND).

Hmm.. I'm just curious as to why this thing makes it seem like these tools are read for installing with devmenu when they throw an error.. so like whats the difference between Govanify's devmenu and a stock devkit devmenu (other than the obvious i guess, lol.. maybe devmenu just doesnt like GW keys?)..(i dont think im allowed to post pics of this magical source anyways)

It's the exact same DevMenu 2.3.4 from BBB's SDK Tools release, only repacked with different access permissions so it can be installed to the SD card.

I meant he just did the title and stuff badly. I don't think anything else is wrong with it, considering it runs! :P

Failed to import both SDK-2.3.4's and SDK-4.2.8's PlayCoinSetter.cia in GW 2.6 / emuNAND 9.2.0-20J / DevMenu 2.3.4.

thats what i wanted to know, lol.. its the CFW that throws things off. so i gotta figure out how to work around that

I have the devmenu.csu renamed to DevMenu.3ds but when i try to start it the 3DS just says The Card was removed. Anyone the same issue?

Devmenu.csu (renamed to 3ds) 2.3.4 on red card
GovanifY Devmenu_2x.cia on SD.

This is what I mean by pointless. Updating to run an app, that runs another app (the competition's work no less), to install another app. It seems highly unnecessary.

The only thing I wanted out of this was to install the other DevMenu apps, and neither damn DevMenu does it. Pointless, dull, crap.
