Hacking Transferring DS sav file to Gateway

Is it possible to transfer a DS save file from a DS PC emulator to the 3DS so I don't have to start the game from beginning? If possible, what are the steps?

It's a wrong post on the wrong board (because TC is asking a DS question). But I'll answer it though.

No$GBA:
Edit No$GBA.ini with Notepad
Replace keyword Compressed into Raw
Restart the game then the save is automatically converted

DeSMUme:
Open the game - File - Export backup memory - Done

BTW, you can't play DS game with Gateway Red Card.
You should play them in Blue Card.

Thanks. After exporting the backup memory in DeSMUme, I just copy the sav file to the 3DS SD card or which folder location? Yeah, I have the blue card.

You should place both DS games and DS saves inside the Blue Card's MicroSD.

What MelonGx said, also make sure they have the same name (except for the file extension)
